What is somewhat distastful is the current lefties favourite slur after “racism” is “McCarthyism”…..
In the fullness of time both McCarthy’s claims and me and mine’s alleged paranoia about “reds under the beds” were false. The opening of the Soviet files and the defectors confirmed there were indeed “reds under the beds”…and now one is POTUS.

I always find it interesting when people denounce Tail Gunner Joe McCarthy, they only slam his methods and tactics; they never refute his central allegation that many US federal government civil servants, esp. in the State Department, were members of the Communist Party and some were Soviet agents. They also gloss over the inconvienient fact that little Bobby Kennedy was one of the lawyers working for McCarthy’ Senate Committee on Un-American Activities.
In a similar vein, the opening of KGB/NKVD files after the collapse of the Soviet Union proved Alger Hiss was, yes, a Soviet agent.
I have read newspaper coverage at leaset five separate times of some lefty type announcing he/she will write a “well researched book” proving Julius & Ethal Rosenberg were innocent and were framed/railroaded/scape goated. As far as I know, three of the planned books have never been published. The other two? At least one book was written and published but the authors, after the research was done, concluded the Rosenbergs were guilty as charged.
I come to the conclusion, after reading about these goings on for years, that the government guys in the USA must have gotten really, really -tired- after WWII. American economy may have boomed, but the guys protecting America from the Soviets just flatly failed.
Clearly this is not because the Soviets were so much more clever than the Nazis, or because their ideology was so much more compelling. I think maybe the Soviets managed to stumble on a “coolness” factor. It became cool to be a Commie in intellectual circles, and the guard dogs were just too fried from the war to beat them.
I say stumble because clearly the people running the KGB etc. were not that smart. You know, what with their whole f-ing empire crumbling to dust and all.

I think we need to have atomic inspector to not sell any nuclear weapon or formula to anybody and if they do any country sell this information must be twice punish than person who buy nuclear like drug buyer or drug seller has more crime than person who buy it. Next they need to have

Now I think if prostitution is legalized in Canada they may loose their job or hard to work in office work like past I guess
