CO2-Bots on the March

Better hold your breath … or the O-bots will get you.
Barack Barry Dunham Hussein Obama is clearly off the rails now … either that, or he’s willing to say anything to get elected. He promises to fix the economy, yet at the same time vows to declare CO2 a dangerous pollutant.
Think about the implications for a minute … as you exhale dangerous pollutant from your miserable evil lungs:

Barack Obama will classify carbon dioxide as a dangerous pollutant that can be regulated should he win the presidential election on Nov. 4, opening the way for new rules on greenhouse gas emissions.
The Democratic senator from Illinois will tell the Environmental Protection Agency that it may use the 1990 Clean Air Act to set emissions limits on power plants and manufacturers, his energy adviser, Jason Grumet, said in an interview. President George W. Bush declined to curb CO2 emissions under the law even after the Supreme Court ruled in 2007 that the government may do so.

… by the way, I wonder how McCain will one-up The Big O on this one?
It never ceases to amaze me that millions … nay, billions, of people worldwide suck this guys pronouncements up like manna from the gods. I guess that’s what cult of personality is all about … I can hardly wait until American liberals raise the next generation of O-bots. In celebration of that eventuality, I present a little hyperbole … just for fun mind you:

  1. And it’s okay to murder plant life on the planet, now, is it? The Vegetation Liberation Front should have a word with the Senator.
    “lungs”
    ;^)

  2. You guys are so paranoid. You need help. Most of the G7 nations are socialist you fools. The USA has been without much competion for years. Guess what? The parties over. Russia and China are just as powerfull and MaCain doesn’t realize that. Do you really think if push comes to shove that Russia or the EU or China will just roll over and play dead. You better give your heads a shake,This blog is at least 50 years behind the times. If there is another world war we won’t be immune. After WWII Einstine said I don’t know what WWIII will be fought with but I do know what the one after it will be. Clubs.

  3. “It never ceases to amaze me that millions … nay, billions, of people worldwide suck this guys pronouncements up like manna from the gods.”
    LOL
Have you ever sat down and had a 5 min conversation with a European? Total socialist nut-bars.
Well I guess average Joe six-pack gets screwed again when corporations either move to countries without CO2 rules/penalties and/or simply pass the added cost on to the consumer.

  4. “This blog is at least 50 years behind the times.”
It’s about 40 years ahead, actually. Just wait.

  5. Yep Europe left wing kooks with highest standard of living in the world. That’s wages and benefits. We give up 800 million dollars a year. You guys a scarier than any Marxist. You’re fart smellers on this blog.Oh ya all Rhodes Scholars.

  6. Canadian voters, in their wisdom, continue to throw off their marxist shackles.
First Saskatchewan, now an improved minority in Canada.
The US has paid a high price for its politically-correct lending practises.
Canada remains a beacon for the world, as more and more of its citizen learn to re-embrace the meaning of freedom by giving a larger mandate to a government which allows its citizens the use of their own money.
Unless the United States electorate is wise enough to vote in a Republican-controlled congress, they’ll be asking for trouble.
Bear in mind, a higher percentage of Democrats voted for the bailout package than did Republicans.

  7. ok4ua;
I’m not sure what you mean when you say, “Russia and China are just as powerfull”. From a military standpoint, Russia matches up with the States as far as nukes are concerned, but China sure doesn’t, at least not yet anyway. From a non-nuclear standpoint, America’s military would crush either of them or both at the same time if necessary. It isn’t close.
From an economic standpoint, the US economy is 4 times bigger than China’s and 10 times that of Russia. That gap won’t be overcome any time soon.
To be sure, the US is on the wrong track in many ways, particularly in terms of energy imports. Can they adjust? Time will tell I suppose, but I’m old enough to remember back around 1980 when the tall foreheads were saying that America’s day in the sun was done and Japan was taking over. Well, we all know how that turned out, don’t we.

  8. Oh, there’ll be change when Ohbummer gets in. I have the audacity to hope that it will be change for the better, but I wouldn’t bet on it.
Incidentally all the soldiers in that video who forgot to do the eyes-right were taken out and shot after the march.
“This blog is at least 50 years behind the times”
    Ya think so, “Einstine”?

  9. Could someone please reset the ok4ua-bot? It seems to be stuck in a recursive loop and its time stamp/date of programming/source file (whatever you computer experts call the phenomenon) looks to be “off” a bit.
    TIA.

  10. Guys, I didn’t mean that you should take the ok4ua-bot, rename the file and add in the random gibberish generation/misspelling batch routine.
    But thanks for trying anyway.

  11. ok4ua:”Do you really think if push comes to shove that Russia or the EU or China will just roll over and play dead.”
Nope. And that’s why I don’t want Obama in the White House.
Putin is a dangerous guy and he will definitely be testing Obama’s mettle in short order. And Obama is much more Chamberlain than Churchill.

  12. Guys remember Kate’s number one rule.
Unfortunately Obama will win the presidency and both houses of Congress. Keep you’re powder dry.

  13. when the socialists completely screw the planet who will stand up and kick their sorry asses to hell and back?

  14. As my suggestion above is really not all the practical (really!!!), does anyone know what the average weight of CO2 exhaled by the average person is per year?
Be nice to know how many carbon credits I will have to buy if I head down to the States for some reason.

  15. McCain is almost as bad on Kyoto as Obama. Not a big advantage here.
BTW, this whole thing about exhaled CO2 is just fodder for the warmies to call you idiots. It is fossil CO2 that is the problem, not that from life that we eat. A better line of attack is the fact that a lot of fossil CO2 goes into food production in the form of tractor fuel, shipping costs, especially those fresh New Zealand out of season strawberrys that Manhatten liberals love so much, refridgeration, etc.
There have even been stories about how the fossil CO2 per calorie consumed means that those who excercise and eat more are damaging the planet.
There is really not a dime’s worth of difference between McCain and Hillary. I would take either one over Obama in a heartbeat.

  16. I would strongly urge all those who sincerely believe that CO2 is a pollutant to henceforth refrain from exhaling

  17. new, whatever your polls say, McCain is closing. State by state polls tend to be out of date when the numbers are moving, which they are now, and give false comfort to whichever side was leading a week ago.
Your PA number is complete BS, BTW. And now with all that noise about ACORN, the philidelphia precincts are not going to be able to “count” the votes in complete partisan privacy.

  18. Tim in vermont;
What, pray tell, is the difference between CO2 from fossil fuels and that which we breathe out?

  19. Obama reminds me so much of Trudeau & trudeaumania.
Same schtick – closet socialist in a mainstream party. Same seduction of hope for a better, utopian world.
It looks like the Americans are going to get their Trudeau. Their disappoint will be profound and the damage will take years to recover from.
It will be fun to watch. Wait until BO invades Pakistan . . that should be a hoot for the Daily Kos kiddies.

  20. Russia? Under the thumb of an ex-KGB thugocracy and on it’s way back to the bad old days. All neighbors nervous.
China? Can’t decide if it’s communist, socialist or capitalist. But they’re on track to be cutting people up into spare parts for jay-walking.
    Me? I worry about India.

  21. Personally,, I am worried about Dearborn, Michigan.
Fred my Man, hate to disappoint, but these polls are coming from the same establishments and same people that gave you False-Victories for Gore and Kerry would you not consider they are rigged again this time ?

  22. “Keep your powder dry” – for what? Can’t tell if you referring to the type some people sniff or to the type that goes Kaboom.
The way things are going these days, a good supply of the former might help us feel a bit more comfortable as the sh*t hits the fan. If it’s the latter, we better use it now before “big brother” gets around to confiscating it all & using it to propel hard objects between our eyeballs.
    Just sayin’.

  23. Russia,China,India – All embracing capatalism, more every day, Jobs done ok4ua, time for the Republicans to pack up and go home. Mission completed, thank goodness. Nothing Obama or any half baked lefty can do to stop it.

  24. When I think of the future after Obamas been in power for 8 years I see us all wearing white jumpsuits and plastic smiles, something straight out of a cheesy 1960’s sci-fi movie.

  25. Hopefully U.S. citizens wake up to this Marxist fool in time. Like the “Green Shift” here in Canada, to implement stupidity like this when the economy is in the toilet is unbelievably stupid. McCain should come out fully against this and let the chips fall where they may. Maybe this will be the defining issue, one way or the other.

  26. ” Global warming anxiety was a Nineties and early Noughties fad — the product of a too affluent age in search of a hair-shirt religion to assuage its guilt at having had it so good. Now that everyone has something real to worry about, cutting carbon emissions seems about as relevant as the Jitterbug or the Rubik’s Cube.
So far, depressingly few of our politicians have understood this.”

  27. John Luft….whether the big O wins or not is neither here nor there. Either way,the US of A is f%^&ed for the next 4 years. IMHO,I think Harper had better step up border security pronto!!A Repuklican in the states is just a marxist up here.Or we could swap the Quebequois for the some blacks. As the old joke goes, how come we got the frogs and the Yanks got the blacks??? We lost the coin toss.

  28. “What, pray tell, is the difference between CO2 from fossil fuels and that which we breathe out?”
One is new to the current atmosphere (it was sucked out by plants millions of years ago) and so increases concentration, the other, unless you are eating aritifical food made from petroleum or coal directly, comes from the atmosphere, and so there is no net difference in CO2 levels over a year.
I am a huge skeptic, and I think catasrophic global warming is a complete crock, however, facts are facts.
Fact is though that CO2 was once five times higher and the planet didn’t die. For fifty million years before the ice ages started there were 50 species of great apes. This is why I say that catastrophic warming is a crock. There is plenty of legitemate ammo against Al Gore.

  29. “how come we got the frogs and the Yanks got the blacks???”
The decency of the British Empire, in both cases.

  30. Let’s not forget O2. It’s a very dangerous chemical. At high concentrations it is an acute and chronic neurotoxin, and has shown teratogenicity in vitro. While not flammable (except in fluorine and certain fluorine compounds) it is a key agent in most fires. As a liquid, O2 can react explosively with organic materials such as charcoal. And, of course, it is an essential ingredient in CO2. Eliminate the O2 and you won’t need to worry about the CO2.
[All of the above is true, BTW].

Both candidates delivered their light-hearted speeches at the annual Al Smith dinner in New York, which raised an estimated four million dollars (£2.3m) for a series of Catholic charities.
“Contrary to the rumours you have heard, I was not born in a manger,” Mr Obama said.
“I was actually born on Krypton and sent here by my father, Jor-el, to save the planet Earth.”
Referring to the dinner, he said he was “originally told we’d be able to move this outdoors to Yankee Stadium”.
Pausing and looking around, he added: “Could somebody tell me what happened to the Greek columns that I requested?”

  32. Meanwhile, San Diego Gas & Electric can’t get their “green” power to their customers because the power lines need to go through a National Park (Joshua Tree, I’d bet – a desert, in other words) and the environauts are protestin’ and suin’…
    Not helpful, guys.

  33. Sorry if it was already posted, but the O’s words,
“Could somebody tell me what happened to the Greek columns that I requested?”
    this
IS going to stand out in my mind!
Be hilarious, if it weren’t reality.

  34. Hey, “New”? People might take you serious if you used grammar.
Trying to read your crap makes my head hurt.

Nobody liked it when the DOW dropped to 8400, and they will like a FLAT LINE @

  36. new;
Just wondering, is English a second language for you? If so, my most sincere congratulations on the progress you’ve made so far. I sure wouldn’t want to have to learn a new language and have my doubts that I could do so easily.
If not, and you are a homegrown product of our education system, God help us all.

  37. Tim in Vermont;
You’re mixing up carbon and CO2. You shouldn’t because they’re two different things. The former is a chemical element, the latter a gas only partly comprised of it.
While it may be true that there is a balance between the body’s carbon intake and output, (if there are any doctors out there, feel free to wade in) it is not correct to say that CO2 intake and output matches.
In other words, CO2 output exceeds intake because we don’t just expell the CO2 we breathe in, but also the excess carbon our bodies take in in its elemental form via the things we ingest.
Simply put, living things of a non-plant variety are net CO2 generators. If warmies laugh at that, it’s only because they skipped too many biology classes.

  38. Tim in Vermont;
A PS to my last post. Plants are an undisputed net generator of oxygen. In goes sunlight water and CO2, out comes oxygen. We are the yang to their yin by being net CO2 generators.
