  1. SO, should we starve the palestinians in order to stop them from murdering each other?
Or should we give them more money so they kill each other all the time?
Or do we exterminate them? OR simply sterilize them? What is the solution?
Or are you going to just do what you always do: sit at your computers, and complain about the big, bad, MSM?

  2. Great link Kate; I’ve passed it around a bit. A fine demonstration of the wrongness of do-gooding.
    My comment is:
Could it be they are killing for the money?

  3. I was wondering about that. Bad enough we give the Palestinians money to train their kids to hate us, and kill us, but Israel giving them anything, makes no sense to me at all. If you thought for one minute the Palestinians goal was anything other than to obliterate Israel and kill all Jews, you might consider helping them out. They have stated repeatedly their goal. It is time to cut off the funding. Maybe if they had something other to do than waiting for a welfare cheque, it would change their outlook on life.

  4. … it could be, that when the foreign aid comes to their shore, they don’t have to “work” (whatever it is useful that they may build there, I dunno… I’m just sayin’) and they soon become so bored, their only outlet is murder.
Whatever the outcome (or amount) of aid, I think they should seal the border.

  5. “SO, should we starve the palestinians in order to stop them from murdering each other?”
With more money thrown at them than at the Marshall Plan, that’s some starvation! What I wouldn’t give to “starve” like that.

  6. Excellent link Jaeger!
There’s a big “donor conference” happening in Jerusalem soon, I gather. Tony Blair is involved.
Yup, proves my long-held theory: the incentive structure promotes more and more murder and mayhem. The Pali-nazi elites profit most handsomely from our western guilt handwringing.
I’ve always wondered why the West contributes anything at all? Shouldn’t the surrounding Arab countries, which casued the problem, be looking after this?
Jizya: comes in many forms, and in infinite supply it seems.

  7. Oh piffle, this is such an obvious point that it is hardly worth commenting upon. Palestine has next to no medium industry – they are certainly incapable of producing the AK47s, the shells, the Semtex, and the pistols which they use with such enthusiasm, nor the RPGs and RPG launchers. All of these things cost money, and given that Palestine doesn’t export much, the money must come almost entirely from outside donors. And as Palestinians are sophisticalted modern people, which in an odd way they are, they are not going to use primitive devices such as machetes to eliminate each other, unlike Africans.
I doubt that Palestine is self-sufficient even in foodstuffs. Palestinians are almost completely the creatures of supporters in the Middle East and Europe, who fund them out of guilt or opportunism.

  8. The guy says there’s a year time lag between them getting the money and the murder rate going up.
Maybe that’s how long it takes to buy arms from Egypt and smuggle them through the tunnels?
I vote we cut them off stone cold. Its cheaper, it will apparently save lives, and the pr1cks don’t deserve a nickel of aid anyway given how they behave. And did I mention its CHEAPER?!
Besides, if they are busy making the desert bloom like the Israelis do, maybe they won’t have so much energy for firing missiles into schools and sending retarded kids to blow up at pizzerias.

  9. I don’t care if the those Palaminos die of starvation or suicide or their own inherent stupidity, I just would like them to all die ASAP.
I have not noted that they contribute anything to anything including their own society. They are a pussy pimple in the middle east. They have no value that I can see, nor any aspirations to be a civil society, so what are they doing here?
They remind me of the far left professional anarchical protesters we have here in Canada only they have guns. They are nothing miserable wretches with no plan and no future.

  10. By the way, as the Loathsome Strep Culture’s question at 9:11 pm wasn’t 100% trollish (I give it an 88% +/- 10% margin of error due to the hour), I have an answer for him/her/it.
The UN should be kicked out of the West Bank and Gaza, post haste. There should be zero monetary aid allowed in from the Israel side, the Egyptians can be counted on to do what they always do, nothing. The Israelis should probably do something about making that wall higher then shoot anything that comes over it. Just to set the ground rules, y’unnerstand.
Given that is accomplished, Christian and Jewish religious organizations should be allowed to set up food, water and medical aid to be delivered directly to the populace. No Palestinian Authority skimming, no Israeli soldiers for protection, no government money by which I mean MY friggin’ money. Just straight up private charity from private citizens other than myself.
You want to help the poor downtrodden Palies Loathsome? There’s your best bet. Win those little hearts and minds and convert them over to a religion that doesn’t have quite so much blood letting in it. Have fun. Don’t forget to write.

  11. These peeps are not stoopid – they unerstand cause and effect, just like a kid in a candy store when Mommy says thats enough candy for the week lets go home. But the kid knows that if you scream and throw a speed wobble you can get all kinds of attention. Geeze lets not short-change the little brown brothers, I am all for giving them all the money they want so they can self exterminate themselves!!!!

  12. “I’ve always been skeptical about whether or not foreign aid ever generates tangible results”
I have my concerns about foreign aid too but the issue you cite doesn’t make my top 20 list.
And that’s the problem with you Israel First clowns: the opportunity cost of your obsession with Israel means that you implicitly give a free pass to even bigger concerns, such as the two billion or whatever we are planning to waste “building democratic capacity” in Haiti over the next ten years.
When you care more about Israel than my tax dollars and the tax dollars of your family and friends, we have an issue that needs to be resolved.

  13. @John West, 11.27pm
We’ll keep this gentle. You are guilty of trivializing the actions of the palestinian murderers by implicitly erasing the humanity of all palestinians, which you justify by claiming they have no “value”.
Let us grant some degree of rhetorical justification to tarring an entire society with a broad brush: the value of a murderer is the opportunity to effect justice (and perhaps mercy).
I could preach some more, but the primary tenets of civilization and basic morality have clearly escaped you.
    Your post is vile.

  14. The Palestinians have been used by the Arab states to deflect their own citizen’s misery for so long, that I cannot ever see that changing. With all the oil money floating around the ME, it would not require much effort for their Muslim brothers to pull these people out of their pathetic state. But, as in the case of Saddam Insane, the only way to qualify for “mad mullah aid” is to send your children out to detonate themselves amongst crowds of Jewish children. As my brothers and I have seen, on more than one occasion, a good percentage of “Canadian Aid” ends up being sold in black markets, with the proceeds being used to buy weaponry. Very sad commentary on the idiocy of the Arab world!

  15. Foreign aid needs to be linked to behavioural milestones – and it is now happening – witness North Korea. The only real milestones should be those linked to developments in freedom for your people and progressive involvement in the world.
Of course you have to help people – but if it is their own government or leaders that are screwing them – then you cannot blindly throw your money away – witness parts of Africa – and of course the joke of Palestine.
The whole mindset with Palestine changed when Bush came into power. He refused to talk to Arafat – because Arafat was directly caught lying trying to sneek a huge arms shipment into Gaza while destroying peace talks brokered by Clinton in good faith. He realized that Arafat was the cause of the failure to reach peace – and was in fact hurting his own people. This led to a regime change and Abbas came into power. The election of Hamas – causing big sanctions – led by Harper btw – is in a way good because Palestinians now know what Hamas is really all about. There is a big difference right now between the West Bank and Gaza and it will be interesting to see what the Bush approach leads to in the latest round of peace talks.

  16. Kingstonlad has it right. It isn’t like the average schmuck tending the Gaza cesspool complex is selling aid goods for an AK47. How do we think Yasser Arafat wound up with a couple billion in his Swiss accounts?
Therefore any foreign aid project that works WITH the PA on infrastructure or farming or anything at all where the PA is supposed to do it themselves is not only doomed to failure, its doomed to be stolen and used for arms to fight Israel. They make irrigation pipes into Katusha rockes, not orange groves.
The only functional option is to bypass the PA, Hamas etc. Go directly to Joe Cesspool Minder and give his kids a hot meal from the Anglican Church. Or the Catholics, United Church of Canada, Jimbob’s Church of Elvis, whatever.
Its much harder for bigtime scam artists in the PA to sell a falafel and a bottle of water, and pardon my ethnocentricity if I say the Anglican Church is somewhat more reliable than the UN.

  17. If I was a Palestinian I’d be thinking real hard with every 24/7 announcement by Iran of wiping Israel off of the face of the Earth that Iran has designated me as collateral damage to that event. In their homicidal nihilism, I guess that thought escapes them.
Whether you are a member of the Death Cult or live on its margins there is no safety.
The insanity of the Palestinians is generation after generation expecting a different outcome for the same behavior. Israel finally wised up and makes no more overtures. They’ve walled them off. They supply bread and humanitarian medical assistance only now. I say remove all cash aid and leave them to their own devices.

  18. Has anyone done a graph to show the increase of violence by Israel after they receive billions of dollars from the world community? Does anyone question the ignoring of at least 500 UN resolutions against Israeli behaviour to its ‘neighbours’? I thought not.
Israel has illegal nuclear weapons and we ignore this. They created these with ‘foreign aid’. Nuclear weapons are not for peaceful purposes. But then, I guess it is not unusual for us to ignore those whome we ‘stand with’? Hussein was murdered for a ficticious germ warfare and nuclear weapons program. But we ignore a country that has illegal nuclear weapons and has not signed on to the non-proliferation treaty, and now plan to attack Iran on the same lies that we attacked Iraq? There are none so blind as those who will not see. I guess it is easier to defame the Palestinians who are supposed to sit back while their land and livelihood is stolen or demolished than those who are doing these heinous deeds?
Your message seems to be that we should demand the Palestinians sit back and let their lives and livelihood be destroyed for the betterment of our friend Israel?

  19. That’s great Phantom except that the PA and the Hamazards will murder anyone that goes around them to the people.
The fact is that Israel would be supporting ALL of the palestinian residents either directly or by the fact that they would be actively participating in a working economy if it were not for the fact that the PLO/PLA/HAMASS and the score of others exist for the sole purpose of interfering in this.
The various groups exist for no other purpose than to promote hatred of Israel through propaganda, coercion, intimidation, murder and destruction of any hope for stability in the Arab communities.
They are succeeding BECAUSE they are well financed and removing their support would be at least a step in the right direction.
As for Joe’s data analyisis …. I’m betting that you could show the same effect in any disfunctional community!

  20. I could preach some more, but the primary tenets of civilization and basic morality have clearly escaped you.
    Your post is vile.
    No, You are vile…

  21. “(As an aside, when Palestinians are blocked from killing Jews, they kill each other instead).”
As Golda Meir put it, more or less – There’ll be peace once the Palestinians love their children more than they love killing ours.
This culture actually does manufacture and export something. It’s called hate. The product assembly line starts in the mothers arms, then progresses through day care, kindergarten, public school – until the finished product detonates, eliminating as many kaffir as possible.
Does any thinking person really believe that in providing them with their own country the net result will be that they’ll form a reasonable, civilized society?
    Didn’t think so.

  22. Palestine a UN success story 60 years in the making!
Tenebris I’m sure Mr West is making his judgments about “all” Palestinians the same way anti- Americans form their opinions about the US. By watching screen presentations from far away. That’s not logical.

  23. You’re being cryptic, bart…
If you mean to imply that you are 100% in agreement with JW, and that I am pond scum for categorically opposing both his (apparent)philosophy and its application, then say so. We can then bat the issue about. As it is, you’ve done a drive-by…

  24. Yes OMMAG, I agree. The PA et al will resist and kill/kidnap/beat a bunch of aid workers. That’s the beauty of it.
Joe Cesspool Minder will quickly understand that the nice Jews ‘n Gentiles handing out the pitas are the Good Guys and the dirtbag PA gunmen are the Bad Guys. Joe’s not an idiot, he just has a crappy life.
Once the average Paly understands there’s no bread because the PA shot the nice church lady, the problem is solved. The PA is done, and the Paly hillbillies will start working for themselves.
Or we could just throw money at them and let them kill the hell out of themselves. I’m good either way, frankly.

  25. George, you do know that the “500 UN resolutions against Israel” comes from a UN stacked with Arab representation, don’t you?
You do also know that Israel hasn’t used any nukes, nor will they except as a defensive measure. Do you actually believe that there’s equivalence between Israel having nukes and Iran – or any other crazed Islamic regime – having them?
As for Pali land being “stolen,” pay attention: that lie has been thoroughly debunked at this site.

  26. If any of this money does make it to the people of these repressive militant regimes, they usually save it to buy airfair to Canada and claim refugee status.
Seems safer than buying a Chinese made AK and kicking the tyrant out of their own country.

  27. george, when the 500 UN resolutions are all initiated by Iran, Syria, Iraq, and other Israel hating nations, it means squat. Israel is not the agressor, they are defending themselves from agression. Get that through your thick skull. Israel is self reliant. They build their own industry. They grow or buy their own food. What handouts are you referring to?

  28. “I could preach some more, but the primary tenets of civilization and basic morality have clearly escaped you.”
You are wrong. These tenets of civilization etc. have clearly escaped the Palasitinians and most of the Islamic world for that matter.
I am merely responding in the only way a mortal enemy should. That is to wish your mortal enemy death. There is no place for coombia with this excuses for humanity.
You sir, are a mamby pampy liberal and I am the conservative who would protect your ass from monsters in spite of my contempt for you.
If I may quote George to you …”There are none so blind than those who will not see”.

  29. George – after decades of money poured into their coffers, can you show us a hydroponic tomato, a single manufactored item, one piece of infrastructure of note, anything that the Palestinians have done with the loot but buy arms, do murder and mayhem, and fill Swiss bank accounts?
Israel is a civil society. The Arabs mounted four wars against them and lost each time. I fault Israel for giving any land back. They sure didn’t have to. When you are the aggressor, you lose territory. That’s generally how history works. The Palestinians are lucky to have what they have.

  30. George,
The UN is not a sovereign body.
In the end, a country is responsible for it’s own sovereignty and protection. It is just like running your home. You might negotiate with a neighbour to put up a new fence and cut the grass – but you don’t let a bunch of so-called neighbours band together to tell you how to take care of your family or impose on your property. If you do then you’re a wussy.
A sovereign nation never lets some quack government in South Goofistan sway an ‘illegal’ vote to try to impose a decision about you that screws you.
For some reason I do not fear Israel as a nuclear power – I somehow know they are not going to bomb Canada or anyone else (call me naive). Their existence is explicitly threatened all the time. (If a neighbour kept telling me that he is going to burn down my home – because I am the wrong religion – then I’m going to protect myself – I’ll go through the normal channels and police, etc. – but – I’m going to let him know that if he tries something his home goes down too.)
However, I just don’t get that warm and fuzzy feeling when I think about Iran or Iraq (actually I am starting to get a warm and fuzzy feeling about Iraq and North Korea) or Syria.

  31. UN not a socwewign body–but then Israel is not a sovereign nation either. It is on land that was stolen from the Palestinians, in spite of the fact that Golda Meir stated there were no humans living in Palestine when Israel was ‘created’.
Palestine has had it’s land confiscated. It cannot feed itself when its remaining chunks of lad are used to build a wall. Their orchards have been decimated and then we wonder why they are not self sufficient?
Remember the War of 1812? At that time our ancestors protected us from a rabid power that saw us as part of their ‘Manifest Destiny’. today we are a country–sovereign for the moment. Would we defend our land again? I doubt it. Not unless there is nothing on TV. Well, the Palestinians have history on their side–not just recent history like ours and Israel’s, but real history. Why do we rewrite history to give an upstart nation the right to do this to a sovereign people? Iraq was attacked becuase it was attacking the Kurds(among other lies) but we sit back and “stand with Israel” while they do these despicable deeds to a defenceless people? Do I detect a pattern here?
A friend who has been a Canadian citizen for many years wanted to renew his passport a few weeks ago. He was born in Palestine but the passport office gave him grief because ‘Palestine doesn’t exist’! He persisted by saying that it did when he was born. finally they relented and put Palestine on the passport. I guess when we rewrite history we forget that there are still those who know what really was?

  32. George you last comments were all over the map. You have no central point, you are just a contrarian enemy of our great friend Israel.
And to ex-liberal, George if far too inarticulate to be ET.

  33. I did a quick sanity check to ensure the data was sound and not masked by normal death rates. It seems OK but I came up with an interesting fact in these days of Bishop Tutu and other South Africans criticizing Israel and belovedly crying, “Apartheid.”
The new, improved Palestinian murder rate is 500 for a population of about 4 million. South Africa’s murder rate is about 500 per one million.
    —————————————–
George: as I know you want to be fair, you should think about the compliance record of the self-declared enemies of Israel to UN resolutions.
Resolution 181 establishing Israel: At least there was no fancy talk, just WAR!
Resolution 242 after the 6 day war: No recognition, No negotiations and No peace. (Said , BEFORE the resolution.)
Check out today’s UN report about Hizb’allah re-arming despite Resolution 1701 and UN appeasement keepers in Lebanon.
Why are there so many UN resolutions on a conflict that is so minor by any objective standard?

  34. Tenebris
maybe you can point to the section of the moral book where subsidies of Jew-killing is a good thing.
The Palestinians won’t put the semtex and ak’s down long enough to feed themselves. They don’t want to make an economy or life for themselves. The just want to kill Jews.
If they won’t stop hating and killing long enough to feed themselves, why the hell should we feed them? And if all they’re doing with the money is killing, we (who provide the funds and thus the means) are complicit in their murders.
I don’t want to enable hatemongering terrorists to continue killing. If that is immoral in your demented world, so be it.
I would rather serial killers were dead. I feel the same way about terrorists.
    Andrew,
When Haitians are plotting to destroy western civilization and replace it with a Jew and infidel (that would be us) world, then I’ll equate Haiti and the Arabs of the territories. Until then, I suspect that subsidies to Haiti are worthless but not belligerent. Subsidies to the Palestinians are belligerent.
    George,
Why is it that stupid, ignorant people like you are so eager to illustrate that sad fact to everyone?
The UN condemns Israel because it’s anti-Semitic. It has been so much so that it actually had to dismantle its own anti-racism committee and re-form it due to crass anti-Semitism. The new panel is just as bad.
Israel has nukes as you suggest. That they haven’t used them somewhat detracts from your slur. But someone who wasn’t a retard wouldn’t have made such an asinine, foolish statement.

  35. @John West, 11.01am
“I don’t care if the those Palaminos die of starvation or suicide or their own inherent stupidity, I just would like them to all die ASAP.”
“I am merely responding in the only way a mortal enemy should. That is to wish your mortal enemy death.”
These are not quite the same, but the central issue still remains: you would prefer (!) to see someone die because he is an enemy.
Care to start another millennia-long vendetta? That is what your position leads to.
I agree: if one has to kill an enemy, one does it without remorse…but also WITH regret. It is far better to have a friend than an enemy. So the objective is to find a way to make Palestinians friends. Any suggestions? Or shall we just forgetaboutit, kill them all, and let God sort them out?
“There are none so blind than those who will not see” ?! JW – come on, now! Only a worshiper of Ayn Rand would agree with your position! You leave no choice but genocide…
“You sir, are a mamby pampy liberal and I am the conservative who would protect your ass from monsters in spite of my contempt for you.”
My, my…and me a son of thunder yet.

  36. John West,
there is not much difference from the points that George is making and those that ET presents here (albeit more articulately)
The Arabs of the former British Mandate for Palestine could be celebrating their 60th anniversary of statehood if they had accepted the UN partition plan of 1947. The Jews accepted this partition and the Arabs rejected it. Google it.

  37. Foreign aid by governments is “taking from the poor people of the rich societies and giving to the rich people of poor societies”
The Palis have the same land, climate, geography as the Israelis. If the jews can make it work, why can’t the arabs?
Better to cut off all aid and encourage self-reliance.

  38. GTW – young George should study a bit of history. Palestine never existed as a country and he’s lying about his pali mate having Palestine in his passport

  39. Hmmm … foaming at the mouth against Israel certainly hasn’t done the Palestinians much good, has it?
If Palestinian politicians had the brains and the method of operation of Quebec politicians they would have achieved nearly all of their goals. The Israelis would probably be building mosques and learning Arabic by now! And perhaps yielding to persuasion to move elsewhere.
It is quite possible that the water issue is a genuine one but anytime it seems about to move front and centre in world attention there is another intifada. As I say, the Palestinian politicians are stupid.
Israel unlike Palestine does have a medium and a heavy manufacturing capability. They manufacture most of their own arms, and do a good deal of design work in the armaments field. I don’t know the current situation but Israel has in the past made a lot of money by exporting arms. Yes, unlike the Palestinians, they can make their own Semtex and do make their own SMGs.
The Israelis, left to their own devices, tend to fight among themselves. This became evident in the brief “peace” from the Oslo accord. They haven’t acknowledged possessing nuclear weapons, much less threatened to wipe anyone off the map.
Getting rid of Israel would be easy (and after all the Israelis have a goodly quantity of moonbats to help with this), if anyone seriously wanted to, but it CAN’T be done by force.

  40. Give the devils their due folks. It would be pretty damned difficult for the Arabs to make their share of the desert bloom or build light industry when the Israelis won’t let them have an equitable share the very limited supply of water. That’s why their only reliable crop is olives, which don’t require irrigation, and on the West Bank, the Jewish settlers have destroyed thousands of acres of olive groves in order to drive the Arabs away.

  41. Warwick asks me to “point to the section of the moral book where subsidies of Jew-killing is a good thing.”
I could probably find something in the koran…
    🙂
Seriously, why the heck did you feel it necessary to ask this question? Do I have to explain every little detail and spoon feed you? OK. I hold the position that every single scap of aid and trade ought to be withheld until the Palestines learn to behave, hang the murderers, and provide reparations to Israel.
    Clear enough?
People – read the words I write, don’t get distracted by your own prejudices, and stick to the point.
    What is the point?
    How to make them stop!
Jown West wants to kill them all (apparently), cold-bloodedly and without regret.
I take exception to that, as every civilized person should.
