Weather Control Machine
Ahead of their time, in the year 1900.

Oh look Al, a Co2 komfiblasterlator!!…bet you can sell a million of these nowadays…has Moe Strong registered a pattent yet??
Even in the year 1900, there were moonbats warning people about imminent global calamity in 100 years. We can laugh at them now. Everyone will be laughing at us in 100 years from now too. Yawn…
Ok… 1997…87.. things sure have changed in just a few decades and they are accelerating. The last decade’s change seems to be the same as the 60s 70s and 80s. Each new decade seems to bring about more change than the last two. I find it hard to see where we will be in another twenty years let alone the next 50 to 93. Like the weather human history involves chaos thus its hard to predict.
Controling the weather is another matter all together.
Love the “summer at the north pole”. How’d they know about global warming? Look at the poor polar bears trapped on the tiny ice flow… If only they could swim!
I think we finally have the weather control machine. It’s operated by the IPCC, runs on scientific reports that it has either funded or selectively quoted and produces hyperbolic BS storms at unprecedented rates. Granted it doesn’t control the actual weather but it’s got the market cornered on the theoretical climate.
I also liked the “Summer Holidays at The North Pole” postcard…it even includes two forlorn polar bears floating on a tiny ice flow.
Iconic images are so last millenium, but then I guess perspective is not a strong suit of the apocolyptic left.
Context glotards…context. (with all due respect to the commentor who coined the term)

Every knows that the Russians made the real climate control machine in the 70’s. They made a few mistakes and it got colder. They gave it to the Russian Mafia (it was called the gov’t at that time).
The Russian Mafia knew it would never work properly so they decided to invade the UN (full of useful idiots). The useful idiots, with the backing of the Russian Mafia, decided there was more money in “Global Warming” … hence the biggest scam of all time … get someone else to pay them for nothing.
Man made climate change, will it go down in history as the biggest scam of the 21st century?
I used to think these leftover tree huggers were just stupid, but I am changing my mind. If they were simply stupid the law of averages would allow them to be right a certain amount of times.
I find it interesting that, with the exception of the flying machines, these predictions were fairly accurate. The rail ships don’t exist per se, but the container ship is a fairly close facsimile. Even the covered cities exist to a small extent – Binion Street in Las Vegas is completely covered (and they don’t project ads on the roof, but they do have a pretty cool light show at night).
What makes it amusing to me is about the same time, Lord Kelvin in Britain said that everything that could be invented had been invented, and the commissioner of the US Patent Office advocated closing it, on the same grounds. I guess there will always be visionaries, and the blinkered.
Algore does bong hits offa that thing !
That’s the machine Bush and Cheney used to create Katrina.
Curious Irony that China, a heavy industrial and coal fired gen plant air polluter, is supplying the US with a pure battery pick-up that can do 40 mph around town for about $10,000.
And this while we are watching for the Mo Stlong Cherry to show up.
Zap of California is the designer and importer. They get around the 25mph speed limit for Nevs by making the truck a three wheeler, motorcycle class.
During the recent AFVI Show in Anaheim, Matt Kelly of Next Gear got to go on a ride along Alex Campbell of Zap in one of their Xebra Xero trucks. http://www.autobloggreen.com/2007/05/05/video-ride-along-in-a-zap-xebra-electric-truck/
This video is very revealing and could expose the *silent* revolution going on to many.
China is also currently exporting a flood of battery electric bikes, mopeds and motorcycles to North America.
For contrast, Phoenix Motorcars has a heavy duty pure battery 4 door short box pick-up. That*s the one the municipalities are buying.

These are rather endearing, aren’t they? One question though: why would you need a roofed city if you have a weather-control machine??
