Tim Robbins Wakes Up

It took awhile but eventually Tim Robbins came to realize that something was awry with the Covid narrative.

On a personal note, I’ve done a lot of thinking recently about when I began to suspect that something was not right with what we were being told. A bellwether event for me was in early June 2020, when 1,288 Public Health “Professionals” signed their name to an open letter which argued that the George Floyd protests/riots were okay “because racism is itself a public-health issue that needs to be addressed“. More here. There were other events as well but this was a big one.

If you happen to recall what fueled your skepticism of The Narrative™, please do share.

  1. When the ‘experts’ said a kerchief was good to stop COVID it was obvious it was all just kabuki theatre.

    1. Mine started with the Trudeau election in 2015.. I realised our county collectively, wasn’t serious at heart

    2. when no dissenting opinion was allowed, was a big red flag to me. I got sick in early 2021. Got sore arms and was a bit tired. Wife never did get sick. Massive red flag was when Kenney said previous documented covid was not acceptable for vax passport, only the vax itself. Yeah, right. I see you.

    3. The moment the government started pushing a vaccine I knew something was very very wrong. Even doctors most of whom had no real knowledge about these phony vaccines were pushing them. Don’t get me started on the masks nonsense.

Your government is your enemy. Once you accept that reality … life starts making more sense.

  2. The day the government said you had to be an “essential worker” to leave the house. I posted the scene from Shlinders List and many unfriended me.

  3. When told there would be 5000 “seriously ill or worse” in our area, based on the models, and there were almost none.

  4. When the volunteer nurse from the New York hospital told the world about the death machines that the hospitals and the treatment had become.
What has become of her, I wonder.

  5. All of the above (so far) are good.
I think where I started to see it was when “two weeks” became “two months”, and then the final nail was the imposition of mask mandates at the end of summer. After that, I believed almost nothing, and everything else was imbibed with boss-level scepticism.

Medically, when the ventilators started to get pushed so incredibly hard despite evidence they were killing people is when the health professionals stopped being trusted.

    1. I saw it from day one in Florida. The stupid was strong and it got stronger as I came north. When the terminally stupid locked down healthy people everyone should have said w t f. Quarantine was always for the ill. This idiocy continues whether people want to see it or not. The shots are still being pushed and the shots are deadly. I refused to play the “covid” game and still do. Only very stupid people comply and yes they were and are stupid.

  6. For me it was the two Doug Ford modeling briefings in April of 2020 in Ontario. At a press conference on April 3, he showed modeling output which predicted a best case ICU peak usage at over 1200 beds on Apr 18. The actual peak was 264 beds, on April 8.

On April 20, at another press conference, Ford showed a new presentation which claimed that the model had in fact predicted a peak of well under 500 beds. This misrepresented the models, claiming that they were accurate to within +/- 70%, when instead they had been out by a factor of over 400%.

No journalists asked what was up, even after I emailed (and got replies from) a couple at the National Post.

This is when I knew that not only did they not know what was happening, but that they were perfectly happy to lie.

    1. Exactly. Went along with the “2 weeks” bs to be a good neighbour. Lost my shit when they moved the goalposts.

  7. For me, as a PhD with more than 20 years’ experience in CBRN warfare (including an active analytical role during the 2003 SARS outbreak) and an extensive knowledge of the history of the Soviet bio weapons program, I clued in in Dec 2019 when a “new virus” miraculously appeared in a “wet market” in the same city where the COMMUNIST CHINESE GOVERNMENT maintains a BSL 4 lab. Don’t care if you don’t believe me, the co workers I warned at the time certainly remember.

Nobody remembers anthrax in Sverdlovsk, an accidental release from the Soviet weapons program? Or the smallpox outbreak in the Aral Sea region, downwind from Vorozdhenii Island, where the russkies manufactured weaponized smallpox? Everything I’ve read about Covid since it appeared (apart of course from regime propaganda, and I’m including the woke Western regimes and their willing and subsidized lickspittles in the MSM) has simply confirmed my original suspicions.

As for the tyrannical response of western governments, well, never let a crisis go to waste, right? Keep the people terrified and they’ll obey. Who was surprised by THAT? Jesus, it’s like nobody reads history. Or Orwell.

    1. Actually, I think I remember hearing about the Sverdlosk release, though I couldn’t have told you where that was.

The government lost my trust when I learned that they had a pandemic ERP but threw the entire effing thing, b/c “NOVEL CORONAVIRUS!!111!!!1!”

  8. There were no questions allowed. Just like global warming.
Dissenting opinions were silenced and mocked, just like global warming.

Everything followed the global warming fearbook, just on an accelerated timeline.

  9. My scepticism started when my son, 20 at the time was essential. He worked in a grocery store. Coming into contact with thousands of people a day. Funny how so few at his store got sick. At about June-July 2020 I was pretty much done. There were no massive amounts of deaths.

What sealed it for me was the daily death counts. Omg 7 people over 80 died today? So COVID’s not over till old people don’t die? Then when someone in their 20’s or 30’s died we’re told government can’t release if there were contributing factors citing patient confidentiality. Sure. If healthy people are dying I think that’s news. But complete with questions asked. Not just a news release. Thousands affected lost jobs etc and an anonymous death there are no explanations??

Sorry. I was done early but In hind sight I did fall for it longer than I want to admit.

Don’t get me started on my extrovert other son who is now an introvert with suicidal ideas and thoughts.

    1. That was the stat that did it for me at one point. Well, two or three, anyway:
      1) In June 2020, over 90% of the deaths in Canada were in LTC in ON and QC, with by far the lion’s share in QC.
      2) The average age at death was higher than the population all-cause mortality age at death.
      3) The death count of the so-called novel virus didn’t spike until late 2020-early 2021 after it had been spreading in the community for months, and round-about the time the vaccines started showing up.

I followed the data. I was never scared after June 2020, and that’s what they hated.

  10. Mine came when Adam Silver, who someone from Taki said if Jiminy Cricket had a baby with an AIDS infected bagel it would look like him – ( Google suppressing my search to give proper credit ) cancelled NBA games.
Next was when Ontario shut everything down March 13.

  11. When the public health orders where issued under section 38 of the Saskatchewan Public Health Act and not served on the person as was required by the statute it was clear it wasn’t about Public Health rather it was contempt of the individual by demanding compliance with a patently unlawful order.

  12. First of all, I got to say Tim looks OLD! Secondly, although I vehemently disagree with his politics and I have to wonder how much of his politics are informed by Susan Sarandon, I’ve always liked him as an actor (Jacob’s Ladder, Arlington Road, The Shawshank Redemption). Thirdly, although I’m aware of who Russell Brand is and was aware that he had a podcast, I always assumed he was just an idiot but if this interview is any indication, he seems to be quite intelligent and well-informed. Fourthly, I never bought into the narrative. As a resident of rural Georgia with a niece who is a nurse at the local hospital and never saw any big wave of Deadly Flu From Outer Space or whatever it was the media was crapping their pants over. I’m pretty cynical about the media and “the experts”. One of my guiding principles about that sort of thing involves The New York Times mocking Robert Goddard about his ignorance of high-school physics that meant rocket flight was simply physically impossible. It wasn’t until Neil Armstrong walked on the moon that they facetiously offered an apology to Goddard.

  13. I was suspect with what we were being told before pangolin / bat sex was part of their narrative.

  14. Hear they are introducing new MRNA vaccine.

Google it and get Dr.Malone. Described as brilliant etc.
He noted his team gave up on MRNA after years of trials.”All the test animals died”.
    He also warned about ADE.
    As did many others.

One week later, to show my wife, I again Googled Dr. Malone.
In that one week he had gone from brilliant, successful and widely lauded to extremist anti-vaxxer.

As had Dr. Bhattataya, Dr. McCullogh, Dr. Cole etc.
    Slam dunk.

  15. That news item showing the fellow collapsing on the street in China. Hmm. With billions of cell phones and no other such reports one would be wise to go ‘Hmm’.

  16. Mutual interests don’t need to call a meeting to do what’s best for them.. It was a open ended new agenda to grab the wheel away from Trump.. As organic as it was subversive.. The upper class, professional class, media and institutions all jerking off to a computer model..

A pandemic was declared on what was a bad flu season.. Even today they play with covid zero numbers to hide their misdeeds.. As if its not what the old and sick die of under normal circumstances.. Flu season, 300 people died today of or with covid.. Just as they did in 1970 or any other year the real vaccine missed the mark..

What the have done is insidious.. A health and welfare honey trap.. Answer me this.. What kind of pandemic breaks along political lines?.. One that’s not very dangerous.. The “not a vaccine” mRNA gene therapy hurt and killed a lot of people.. It still is.. The mandate othering of people who were not interested in the obvious risks.. Removing their rights, taking their jobs..

What a shameful time to be alive and it was all for nothing.. Put that in your computer model and smoke it..

  17. “Take this untested blend of possibly dangerous substances and improve your chances of not getting COVID by 2% give or take 70.”

    “No thanks.”

“It’s science. Plus we allow you to travel.”

“Oh okay, sign me up, I’m gonna die sooner or later anyway.”

  18. When road and highway information signs didn’t provide traffic information. Just non stop:
    -Keep six feet apart
    -Wash your hands
    -Stay home.
These simple instructions could be understood in one reading. The fact that they never stopped repeating them meant that it wasn’t health advice, it was propaganda.
The last straw was when I was driving down the road on a beautiful July day and on the radio, Mayor Nenshi declared that Calgarians would be masking until at least Christmas.
I knew this was BS but I didn’t know it was part of the marketing plan to turn the seasonal flu into a scary “virus” requiring requiring experimental and lucrative jabs.

  19. When I read the Pfizer documents at rollout and found out what was meant by 95 percent effective. It was much different than what we were told.

  20. The Diamond Princess

A cruise ship that was for all practical intents a closed system with 3711 people in close contact on a daily basis, and typically skewed older, had 712 cases between February 7 and February 22, of which 13 died, which give an overall death rate of about 0.35%

    https://epidemic-stats.com/coronavirus/diamond-princess

It was also promptly ignored by those in public health, instead of being studied thoroughly.

    1. This was it for me, with the addition of another ship, the USS Theodore Roosevelt. It also had an outbreak they had to deal with for weeks among sailors working in close quarters.

Just like the Diamond Princess, the (pre PCR testing) rate of symptomatic cases on the Roosevelt settled in at about 20%, so when the “experts” got all hysterical using their models of huge numbers of cases and deaths I knew it was a bunch of crap.

    2. Another good one. Into the memory hole after passengers unhelpfully stopped dying.

    3. Another one that tipped the scales was the HMS Queen Elizabeth, all crew fully screened and Vaxxed and it had an outbreak during its world tour in July 2021. That outbreak spread to ships in company, again all fully vaxxed. I had already figured out that an experimental drug for which all liability was waived and being pushed under an EUA was a bad idea. Once I heard that unlike other vaccines, no Vial Bank was being maintained for seperate batches I knew there was a problem. At that point, when asked, I replied that I was waiting for the outcome on the long term trial on the lab rats – which would be all the pro vaxxers AKA Vazis – who had kindly stepped up to take place in this trial. So far the outcomes haven’t been good, even amongst my relatives there have been Shingles outbreaks, very heavy menstrual bleeding out of cycle within minutes of the Jab, myocarditis, flare ups of cancer and various neurilogical problems. I think the penny dropped around summer 2020 when all the previous advice was thrown out and it was Vaxx only, no treatment options to be discussed.

  21. Well, given I was given a 100% chance of dying as a pure blood, I have to admit I’m loving my new existence where I only come out after dark, before returning to my coffin by day break.

  22. When “Two Weeks to Flatten the Curve” resulted to even worse lock-downs. Then the shit and abuse I received from the true believers for questioning the narrative.

During a lull in the summer of 2020, I had gone to Wing Night at a popular place. It was grossly overcrowded that night (even for fire code standards). No one came down with COVID as a result. Yet, many who went were still preaching the COVID narrative when the next round of lockdowns came into effect. One of the attendees was god-damning me for not being a believer. She was mad because I supported the Bowden Rodeo held in protest of lockdowns. I asked her if she was there that awful Wing Night evening, which she sheepishly said yes. Then I asked her how long she was sick afterwards and she shut up.

  23. As Notta Canadian notes, I never once bought into the narrative, either. In no particular order beyond the first 2:

    1. First rule of gov’t is to never trust the gov’t.
    2. First rule of MSM is to never trust the MSM.
    3. As noted above, no dissent allowed, no matter how reasonable or empirical your argument.
    4. Two weeks to flatten the curve. Uh-huh…
    5. Everybody gets jabbed except for the US Senators. Uh-huh…
    6. Tested & safe treatments for other diseases (Ivermectin & HCQ) suddenly deemed poisonous for human consumption. Uh-huh…
    7. Undercooked bats/pangolins/rainbow-hued unicorns from a wet market. Uh-huh…
    8. Complete reversal of positions on masks, several times.
    9. If this was truly a killing disease, why weren’t masks treated as hazardous waste at hospitals, etc., rather than just tossed into generic garbage cans?
    10. If this was truly a killing disease, why were some of the most draconian leaders frequently seen in restaurants, meetings, etc., sans masks?
    11. If this was truly a killing disease, why weren’t we all assigned N95 masks or Scott Air Packs or something similar, instead of receiving recommendations to use masks that stop the Covid virus as well as a barbed wire fence stops mosquitoes?
    12. High pressure sales pitch to get jabbed, get jabbed, get jabbed, along with commensurate fear-mongering.
    13. Success stories with alternative treatments completely & entirely buried by the masses.
    14. Six foot social distancing had no, zero, foundation in science.
    15. Never trust the altruism of a drug company.
    16. I could go on…

    1. Don’t forget the 3 leaders of nations that got whacked for refusing to roll with the narrative.
One even going as far as to test a fruit and relishing how it tested positive.
Never been fond of the Haitians but damn they were quick to slaughter him when he told his Masters to sit and rotate on it.

      1. Yep.

Two more: When small businesses (that could only hold a handful of people) had to shut down but big box stores (that could hold hundreds) were able to stay open. When pot stores & liquor stores were declared essential businesses & allowed to stay open.

        1. Oh, and the BS PCR tests that were run through 40 cycles or more to get a positive result, when the guy that invented the damn things said they’d never been designed for such a thing.

        2. When pot stores & liquor stores were declared essential businesses & allowed to stay open.

That’s when all my doubts were gone. When the govt is 100% doing Brave New World, you know you’re being hoodwinked.

  24. For me it was how consistently wrong the models were as well as the Great Barrington Declaration.

  25. Around April 2020 I think, a few days into the first lockdown, my wife and I went for a drive just to escape the house. After about a half hour driving in rural north Durham we said “where to now” and I said let’s check out Ajax Pickering hospital. Did a flyby through the parking lot and could see into the window that ER was deserted. WTF? Then went to MarkhamStouffville, then Scarborough Grace, then Scarborough General, then Centenary hospitals. All had deserted ERs despite the horror shows on the evening news. We knew something was really not right. Then social media started uncovering the scam ICU footage being reused and the jig was up. By the time the full court press started for the vax we were having none of it. That drive was eye opening for us – a real trust but verify moment. I also remember that gas was at .72 per L that night.

    1. I had forgotten about that part of it. Early on, in preparation for the thousands of COVID sufferers due to arrive, the hospital my niece works at cancelled all elective surgery. Since my niece is a surgical nurse, she was afraid she was going to be laid off but the hospital found enough busy work to keep her on until they abandoned that policy after about 6 weeks and the surge of cases never came. It helped that Governor Kemp never bought into the bull either and kept Georgia open.

  26. I think it was when they said they could have a vaccine ready without isolating the virus and could skip the normal ten year process for approving new vaccines. It looked and smelled like a con from day one. I guess it’s the farm life that taught me not to trust city slickers peddling snake oil.

  27. I don’t remember exactly the day or month when I couldn’t trust the narrative, but it was before Jason Kenney backtracked and said only essential people could work. It was this day when I pretty much said FU to every politician and government employee in Canada. I’m deemed an “essential” worker in the pipeline industry and I couldn’t believe I had to argue with fellow employees who had the “privilege” to work that it was wrong for anybody being forced not to work or not able to make their own decisions for themselves and family. It’s disgraceful that anybody who says they believe in freedom, also believes it is another persons responsibility to alter their life in order for them to feel safe. Some people I know who used to be proudly independent people, and wanted the government to be as little a part of their life as possible, totally drank the koolaid. How could so many seemingly intelligent people let this garbage absolutely destroy their relationships with family and friends? With the trust in news media being at an all time low, how could they be hoodwinked in such numbers? You can know a tree by it’s fruit, and the only fruit that came from covid was division.

  28. For me, there were several things already mentioned above, but the big clanging alarm was the obvious hiding of data right from the get-go. You could not get a straight answer from any official source, and the focus was on cases, not deaths. And dead people weren’t being stacked up like cordwood.

Then the nonsensical restrictions started popping up, particularly regarding masking, and that was proof of a power grab, not good medical practice. Early on, I found that the Mexican Beer virus measured about 0.013 microns and the ‘approved’ N95 masks had a much larger mesh. Then, when those silly surgical masks, with gaps all over the place and pulled from a pocket or purse and put on with unwashed hands were deemed to be the solution, it was clear we were being played. (Do people in virology labs wear paper masks? Hell no! They wear positive pressure moon suits to work around viruses. There’s a hint right there.)

One of my two favorites; you could safely go out to bars until 10:00 pm, but at 10:01 that deadly FauXi Flu would kill you. The other was that you could go shopping in big box stores or grocery stores (how does the ‘rona virus know to avoid the cans of green beans? Clever bug!) where many hundreds of people traipsed through daily, but you couldn’t go to say, a watch repair shop, with maybe a dozen customers a day coming in prolly one at a time. Small businesses had to be shut down.

Tons more examples, but those two could really made you go hmmmmm…

  29. LOL…he didn’t wake up – he stuck his finger in the air to see which way the wind was blowing.
    Eff him.
I’ve got a brother just like him. Waits for others to do do all the heavy lifting then comes in later in the game.

  30. I felt like it was a giant scam almost immediately. New York City had “free burgers” for anyone that came and got the shot. Even Premier Jason Kenney was advertising a “million dollar lottery” only for vaxxed people and gee, maybe that’s obviously a high end scam in progress worldwide and very different from anything ever.

Trudeau sneered at the “not interested” people publicly and immediately, almost comically reminiscent of “those people”,
the Jews of Germany. On purpose

    1. Ah, I’d forgotten about the various incentive plans. That didn’t cheapen the message at all, did it…

  31. We all live two lives, the one we learn from and the one we live after.

My scepticism was confirmed daily but one of the best was when Tam announced one week after Halloween (when she gave NO words of caution) that people should not go carolling as we approach Christmas.

    1. After the word got out that both Pfizzer and Moderna were supposed to keep trials going for 2 – 3 years for long term data and had vaccinated their controls. That didn’t sit well at all with a long term research career.

So I went to the back of the queue and then some and started reading on Vitamin I and HCQ.

Then that wanting to keep the lid on data for 75 years didn’t sound like research work of which they were proud. Commercial -in-confidence be buggered! And I stayed back well behind the queue.

  32. A few hundred dead (it’s up to 980 by now, 3 years later) supposedly of the Chinese coof in a population of over 1 million. Yeah, those are rookie numbers. It never was a pandemic.

  33. For me it was very early on when the Pacific Princess cruise liner was being quarantined between Japan and USA. Once the passengers were allowed to disembark in USA details began to filter out that only a handful of the 2500 passengers died and all were very old , likely with medical conditions. Only about 20% on board actually became sick and most had only mild cold like symptoms.

Here was a perfect lab experiment to be analyzed as all were in a confined space with central air system , yet no one …absolutely no one had any interest in doing the analysis and tracking the passengers. The only interest was hyping about the few who died.

Later came Dr. Zelenko ( rest in peace ) who did his homework , found an article in which Fauci was involved during the original SARS outbreak … 2009 I think … in which chlorquine was found to effective and the rest is history.

  34. I was suspicious from the start but what sealed it for my family was when they announced it was fine to shop at big box stores but too dangerous to keep the churches open.

  35. I figured that the pandemic was being hyped after looking at the Diamond Princess data that was almost completely ignored because the death count was too low.

I KNEW the Vaxx was bogus when they vaxxed the entire control group after only a few months. What kind of science is THAT!?!

  36. May of 2020 for me, I am inherently distrustful of government, but refuse to live in fear. The story changed from week to week, within any three week period, things which contradicted each other were stated as fact. impossible, and impossible to miss if you are paying attention.

  37. It was when Hydroxychloroquin was being demonized. Here was a virus we were told that was Novel, we didn’t know much about it or how to treat it, yet, when a known drug showed promise, it was thoroughly demonized and crushed, while those who talked about it were cancelled and treated as idiots. Yet, did it not warrant the process of investigation? Hell no. That was a giant red flag.
At literally the same time, there were studies coming out of NYC showing that the dead had little to no VitD in their systems. This was suppressed as were the heavy skewing of all deaths in the 75+ demographic by the media. Instead the propaganda is we were all deathly at risk.
My BS meter has since never turned off and remains skeptical of every stupid thing the media, the local NDP idiots, and BlackFaceHitler and his minions utter, say or do. They all lie and lie constantly.

  38. When we were told in February/March ’20 to make masks to prevent the transmission of the virus, using cotton/denim material.

    … As if!

Its been a power-grab of the most obvious and self-serving manner by our betters in government, aided by our precious and irreplaceable public service sector who have made out like bandits on the backs of the working public.

  39. To add, even when the “vax” was being promoted by Trump, I wasn’t convinced. By that time, I was heavily into the neutraceutical daily regimen , with Ivermectin safely tucked away just in case, and never saw a need for this unproven, experimental cytotoxic Depop clot shot

The best thing about being a conspiracy theorist is not having myocarditis or Dying Suddenly!

  40. Rehash all you like, but its pointless.
    The Not-so-great Reset has started.
Dutch farming, American borders, Canadian guns, eurotrash energy…
Western governments are moving swiftly and I doubt we’ve really seen anything yet.

  41. This letter was my moment as well. This was no longer about public health, but an “opportunity” for the narrative to not go to waste.

  42. After a baby nephew reacted to a vax in 1995, we no longer “trust(ed) your doctor” blindly. I didn’t believe the narrative from the start. Every election year in the US brings with it a scary virus. Part of the Dem play book. They had China’s help as both wanted to defeat Trump. The photos and videos of ppl dropping dead on the street were fake as that is not what happens with a respiratory illness. Knew in Feb of 2020 it would be about the vaccine. It’s been a very long and hard 3 years.

  43. As soon as they suspended my constitutional rights to freedom of speech and freedom of association (USA). Also forced compliance with senseless masking and social distancing. All in an election year.

  44. A couple of key moments for me. First, when I found out, very early on, that Wuhan was where the lab was, and where the “bat lady” worked, and MSM news people only wanted to talk about the “wet market”. And later, when I heard a doctor on the radio casting aspersions on Ivermectin as horse medicine, with no one mentioning the fact that it was celebrated as a massively successful med for humans.

  45. the cruise ship that was I Japan I think. That was the experiment that we needed and it provided all the hope we needed. And the narrative crushed it.

  46. Just like global warming I started to turn with every example of an “expert” expounding some “fact” about the disease or science in general that I knew to be false just based on my own scientific knowledge. Why would they have to lie. As for the vax – I knew there had never been a successful corona virus vaccine because of the fast mutating nature of this class of virus. By the time the vax was produced the virus had already mutated to make it useless. This is still true to this day. So I knew the vax would be a failure (and so did they) – I did not know how dangerous it would be or how reckless our leaders would be in its use. I now know these people have no limits and must be opposed at every turn if any human is to remain free
