Yes, the meeting was inappropriate and further confirmation of Trudeau’s lack of judgement. Who is surprised by this? And who really expects he will be held accountable by voters for his lack of judgement? What I want to know, however, is what exactly Boyle meant in his tweet about their meeting in 06 over “common interests”. He ends his tweet with “haha”. So are any enterprising journalists going to look into this? There may be something there that would ignite Canadian concerns about their Prime Minister. I hope this is not the end of the story. Mr. Boyle seems to like the limelight. Let us ask him what he meant. I do not see him protecting Trudeau.
Why does everyone think that the meeting with Boyle in the PM’s office was a mistake. There has to be a few meetings arranged before the final amount of settlement is agreed upon. You don’t just hand over ten million dollars without a meeting, do you? And you have to have a few selfies taken with the kiddies so that you appear warm and loving, not like that ole meanie Harper, who will get blamed for the amount of settlement because he didn’t do enough while the Boyle family was in ‘captivity’. Come on people do a little thinking here! This is just another way to spread the wealth.

I’m getting a lot of second thoughts about Andrew Scheer. I had a friend in Southern Saskatchewan who was Sioux, and had been taken to a residential school at a very early age. He loved the school so much, after he competed his education, he worked on their farm for two years at which time he started a commercial business of his own. He often stated that the school had given him everything he needed for survival. I hope Mr. Scheer doesn’t have me banned from SDA.
I think he should worry about his ratings rather than trying to change Canadian history!
