1. How old is Gale Rose? Is she Hot? If … she is Hot and optimally-aged … I might be able to give her some hands-on experience with her research … if not grammar.

2. The problem with words like first-hand, first hand or firsthand, it often depends on how she had her spellcheck program set. For example, when I type it in as firsthand, it gives me a grey (or is it gray?) line under the word, and that means caution. Both first hand and first-hand seem OK.
   Is it one liter of oil or one litre?? Depends on where you live. In the USA, it’s a liter, in the SI (Systeme Internationale) countries, it’s a litre.
   Is it the Flight Centre or Flight Center that has the best deals on airline tickets to Australia.
   Center is USA, centre is UK. Flight Centre is an Auzzie establishment with offices all over the world.
   Do I need a new tyre, or a new tire??
   Frankly, I prefer the UK setting. Canada is not an American state. We’ve yet to dump the tea into the harbour, or is it the harbor??

7. Collins on line dictionary says that firsthand, first-hand and first hand all mean the same thing. Who am I to argue if the reader gets the meaning. I’m not a spelling or grammar nazi unless the spelling and grammar is so bad the meaning is lost.
