  1. So statistics were pulled out of a hat and data was adjusted to garner support for a cause. Where have we seen that before?

  2. Yet, Doss noted, “when I presented the paper on how much of the world’s food do women produce at FAO [Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations] — they were quite upset with me. They kept saying that they needed this statistic!
Ladies and Gentlemen, I present the U.N. in a nutshell.

  3. To top that, these were 1970’s statistics … about 45 years ago … I am quite sure they have changed for the positive since then.

  4. These so-called statistics rate four Pinocchios says the WaPo. Damn, that’s as good as Obama gets four his Keystone assertions.

  5. “…the statistics turned out to be “a guess based on an extrapolation wrapped round an estimate.”
Like SO many statistics used these days by activists.

  6. But when it gets repeated often enough, it becomes fact, right?
Just like Oblame-o insisting ISIS isn’t Muslim.

  7. Statistics and factoids are just grist for the grievance mill. It doesn’t matter if they’re accurate or a complete fabrication. If they did that would mean the UN gave a s**t about the plight of women worldwide. They obviously don’t care about that, just their larger political agenda – socialism, graft and their prosperity paid for by others – aka the rest us poor working schmumps.

  8. ONE (1) Hillary trumps four (4) Pinocchio’s. Lies & dam Lies
The Narrative is all about feelings, you know that feeling that runs down your leg.

  9. Just like the Global Warming lie, if you tell a lie often enough it soon becomes the truth.

  10. National Geographics getting a little nasty with skeptics over this such as Global Warming,Evolution and such thigs
