Let Calvert have his dinner on the 29th. There’s another dinner coming up on the 7th, and the main course is going to be stringy Dipper turkey with a side order of tossed socialist salad. Pretty yucky, but still better than lining up at McDonald’s for a cheeseburger.
I can picture it now. A gala event at TCU Place. Thousands in attendance. A veritable banquet with personal table service. What’s this I see? Why its former Premier, Lorne Calvert, in a waiter’s outfit providing personal table service to Saskatchewan’s new and very popular Premier, Brad Wall and his lovely wife, Tami. This is a dream I don’t want to wake up from.
Cute “a different Bob” 😀 I’d imagine Lorne would go back to preaching, or enjoy retirement.
The main course will be crow-au-vin.
Waiting tables can be quite lucrative. Tips and all that. On the other hand he could go back to preaching. Along the way just maybe he might just see the light.
It looks like Calvert would be really really lucky to be the guest of honour at that Premier’s dinner.
