THEY CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH

A commander of a U.S. Space Force unit tasked with detecting ballistic missile launches has been fired for comments made during a podcast promoting his new book, which claims Marxist ideologies are becoming prevalent in the United States military.

Lt Col. Matthew Lohmeier, commander of 11th Space Warning Squadron at Buckley Air Force Base, Colorado, was relieved from his post Friday by Lt. Gen. Stephen Whiting, the head of Space Operations Command, over a loss of confidence in his ability to lead, Military.com has exclusively learned.[…]

Lohmeier sat down last week with L. Todd Wood of the podcast “Information Operation,” hosted by Creative Destruction, or CD, Media, to promote the book. He spoke about U.S. institutions, including universities, media and federal agencies including the military, that he said are increasingly adopting leftist practices. These practices — such as diversity and inclusion training — are the systemic cause for the divisive climate across America today, he said.

From his perspective as a commander, Lohmeier said he didn’t seek to criticize any particular senior leader or publicly identify troops within the book. Rather, he said, he focused on the policies service members now have to adhere to to align with certain agendas “that are now affecting our culture.”

Regarding Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, he said, “I don’t demonize the man, but I want to make it clear to both him and every service member this [diversity and inclusion] agenda, it will divide us, it will not unify us.”

You can still order his book though Marxistzon has pulled it from the searchable listings: Irresistible Revolution: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest & the Unmaking of the American Military. The hardcover has sold out.

A Hanging, Followed By A Fair Trial

Fortunately for lying while under oath juror #52, he’s not a secret member of the Proud Boys who voted to acquit. He might be in real trouble.

First reported by The Post-Millennial and since covered by other outlets, a photo from a Facebook post of Brandon Mitchell in Washington, DC shows him wearing a t-shirt that reads, circling a photo of Martin Luther King, “Get Your Knee Off Our Necks – BLM” while standing with two other men, one of whom is identified in the post as Mitchell’s cousin.

Mitchell now says that he was just in DC to “be a part of something.”

Viva Frei: Could it lead to a mistrial?

Trial by Mob;

The mob does not care. The mob wants results. The jury was not sequestered until deliberations began. Anyone paying attention had to have heard of this Santa Rosa vandalism, or Maxine Waters trying her best to induce a mistrial. There was very little hope that the jury would have the spine to stand up and fairly examine the evidence presented at trial. If they wanted to leave, and live their lives, then all they had to do was toss one man to the mob.

And even if they didn’t hear Joe Biden’s comments or Ilhan Omar’s comments, they certainly knew the sentiments existed. If there was a single holdout in that jury room, all the other jurors had to say was “do you want your house burned down?”

Do as we say or we will watch you burn.

Above the law? Joe Biden is a human obscenity.

Mostly Peaceful

They reap what they sow.

A CNN crew member collapsed after being hit in the head by a water bottle while covering the protests over the fatal police shooting of Daunte Wright in Brooklyn City, Minn., Wednesday night.

The attack was captured on video and posted to Twitter by Nicholas Rowan, a Washington Examiner staff writer.

“Protesters threw a water bottle at a CNN crew member and hit him square on the head. They mock him when he falls down,” Rowan tweeted. […]

After he recovered from the blow, at least one person called for a medic. The protesters ultimately chased the CNN crew off, throwing eggs at them and their vehicle as they drove away.

Update: Irony arrives like a cold bottle of water to the side of the head.

De Blasio announces ‘unprecedented’ racial justice commission to rethink NYC laws

De Blasio said the commission would draw inspiration from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission founded in post-Apartheid South Africa in the 1990s.

“The Truth and Reconciliation Commission in South Africa is particularly notable for the way it identified the sins of the past, then determined structural changes needed … We want to take from those international models, adapt them to the reality here… recognizing the foundational sin of racism in this country, in this city,” de Blasio said.
