The Ultimate Trump Card in New Zealand

It appears that the Māori people of New Zealand have also gotten fed up with foreign invaders to their lands. What’s beautiful about this protest is that the politically correct elites and police won’t dare push back against them, because they know that their careers will instantly be over.

Can Canada’s Post-Secondary Institutions Get Past Their Foreign Money Addiction?

Natasha Mrkic Subotic, employed at Capilano University in B.C., has written an op-ed about the new state of post-secondary education:

With new global attraction strategies, Canada is trying to draw talent from abroad but neglecting the systems that nurture our own youth.

B.C.’s institutions, and their counterparts across the country, are confronting a financial reckoning more than a decade in the making.

What comes next may reshape how Canadians learn, work and access opportunities for decades.

The seeds of today’s crisis were planted as far back as 2011, when the federal government signalled a bold new direction. Economic plan 2011 called for a comprehensive International education strategy. This direction was amplified in 2013 when the global markets plan identified international education as one of 22 priority sectors where Canada held a competitive advantage.

Of course, given her own biases, she spins things in a very particular way. There is an entirely different point of view on this subject.

Conspiracy Theories or Common Sense?

SDA regular, David Murrell, recently posted this in Reader Tips:

JD Vance rebuts Vanity Fair’s anti-Trump hit piece
…by saying many “conspiracy theories turned out to be true”.

The entire article is well worth a read, in which Vance talks about the “conspiracy theories” of the dangers of masking three year-olds, the media covering up that Joe Biden clearly unable to do his job, Biden trying to throw his political opponents in jail rather than win an argument against them, etc. He sums it up with this: “So, at least on some of these conspiracy theories, it turns out that a conspiracy theory is just something that was true six months before the media admitted it.”

This got me thinking about a recent messaging conversation I had with a longtime friend in Vancouver:

Of course, he never responded to my question, which I posed twice in that thread. Why? Because he is afraid to examine any truth bombs that might burst the protective bubble wrap of ignorance that CBC/CTV/Global have carefully constructed all around his mind … and that of millions of other Canadians. My friend is not a bad person, but he is sooooo incredibly ignorant on most issues. Ironically, his wife is super based. The Covid Plandemic woke her up big time!

I Want A New Country

Now you’re talking.

“People are at the breaking point. Our public servants are at the breaking point.”

Smith says Canada is a nation of immigrants and Alberta more so than anyone else but newcomers need to be able to get a good-paying job to support themselves. What does the Alberta premier want to see?

A made-in-Alberta immigration system with a “sustainable” level of immigration and much more.

“We want to have a similar program to Quebec. Quebec has an immigration program that allows them to choose on the basis of language and culture. […]

“Maybe you don’t get health care covered until you have been a taxpayer for a number of years.

“Maybe you don’t bring your kids over to be educated in our publicly-funded education system or use our taxpayer-supported child-care system until you have a certain number of years as a taxpayer. You have to pay into the system.”

Smith says those who want to become permanent residents would then know “the number of years they’ve got to work in order to be able to receive all the entitlements of those who have been taxpayers all their lives.”

Smith says being a citizen or being on the path to citizenship as a permanent resident has privileges.

“Until somebody becomes a permanent resident and citizen we’ll treat them like tourists,” she says.

You First, Leftists!

Laura Babcock is one of Canada’s poster girls for Wealthy White Woke Women. She’s now screeching from the rooftops that Canadians will have to go fight for Ukraine. Is it not so convenient that her and her ilk have been telling us for years that conservatives are scum, that white men are evil, and that “Christofascists” (aka Christians she disagrees with) are terrible.

The best response to this divisive Lieberal propagandist actually comes from Britain, in the form of this video and this one. YOU go fight on the Ukrainian frontlines for your Beloved WEF Elitist masters, Laura. The rest of us, who have been deemed to be “Far Right Deplorables”, will sit this one out.

Why Would Any Western Canadian Want to Stay Part of Canada?

From Marc in Calgary:

Manitoba is now collecting above $5 Billion from welfare in a $25 Billion budget and in the same range of dependency as 3 of the Atlantic provinces at 20% of gov’t revenue coming from intergenerational interprovincial welfare payments.

I think there may be some adjustments to this file late in 2026 after the Alberta Separation Referendum.
Perhaps they’ll plant “Victory Gardens” so they don’t starve to death in the cold winters to come…

Coulda Had a Tesla

If U.S. taxpayers are wondering where their hard earned money is going, they don’t need to look any further than the U.S. Postal Service, spending $4.9 Million per electric truck:

The US Postal Service has spent more than $3 billion in tax dollars on a brand-new all-electric fleet of mail trucks — and gotten just 612 vehicles for its money, according to a letter sent to Sen. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) and obtained by The Post.

Former President Joe Biden’s 2022 Inflation Reduction Act set aside billions for what Ernst has since ripped as a green “boondoggle” that saw almost all of that amount paid to Wisconsin-based defense contractor Oshkosh to design and build 35,000 new environmentally friendly mail trucks.

But as of Nov. 10, only 612 of the battery-electric powered vehicles are on the road.

Keir Starmer’s Britain

Bigamy is illegal in Britain. But this law doesn’t apply if the marriages occurred outside of the country. So this should be no surprise to anyone:

UK to Increase Benefits for Additional Spouses in Polygamous Marriages from April 2026

From April 2026, the weekly rate for each additional spouse under Income Support will increase from £114.80 to £119.50, part of standard annual uprating confirmed in the government’s Social Security Benefits Up-rating Order 2025. This long-standing policy, dating back to the 1990s and clarified in 2004, recognizes polygamous marriages formed abroad for means-tested benefits, mainly affecting a small group of fewer than 100 low-income households who meet residency and income tests. Critics question using public funds for arrangements illegal under UK law, amid broader concerns over welfare spending and rising taxes, while supporters note it prevents hardship for valid dependents without promoting polygamy domestically.

The Neverending Story

Here’s a video about a young woman in New York City who was severely slapped by an insane man who has previously done so to many other women. Does this sound familiar? It should, because it’s a common pattern in every community in America and Canada. Such mentally ill people commit offence after offence, get arrested, and then are put back on the street by Leftist judges who don’t see fit to incarcerate them or forcibly get them the mental health help they clearly need.

We all know that this mentally ill man is likely going to eventually kill someone, and then most will say, “Why didn’t the judges do something?” Additionally, the usual suspects defending him as the victim will absolutely deny any responsibility for advocating him to be able to continually prey upon innocent people.

Update: Megyn Kelly weighs in. There’s a brilliant comment there: “Tolerance for criminals is intolerance to the innocent.
