Totalitarians, their sycophants, apologists, admirers and parasites, will never apologize.
They see themselves as having protected society, even the unwashed heathens, from complete destruction.
Facts don’t matter, neither do their lies.
They tell us it was “for our own good”.
They tell us they have no time for anybody that didn’t take the knee to their arbitrary rules that were not based on science.
They told you to keep taking the jabs, even when they knew they didn’t prevent disease, transmission or death. That’s EVIL.
The age of honourable, duty and respect for the public disappeared decades ago.
precisely. they willfully and deliberately LIMIT their thoughts to a specific topic and response.
they . . . . will . . . . . never . . . . . admit . . . . . alternatives. never. ONE COURSE OF ACTION FOR ALL.
that makes it real easy peasy. with THEM deciding ze rhulsz himmel zein !!!!
and lookit the abominable MESS. the top decision maker wont tell us the colour of his tie.
“The age of honourable, duty and respect for the public disappeared decades ago.”
Looking back over history, one begins to wonder if “honorable public servants pursuing their duties with respect to the public they served” was ever a thing. One certainly wonders if it died with the war in 1914.
But whatever, the mask fell off in 2020. We can see you now, goblins.
Those who think that they are wiser than God see no reason to talk to those that that should be their worshippers.
Yeah … no bad intentions with the COVID Health “EMERGENCY” …
https://www.cnbc.com/2023/01/11/biden-extends-covid-public-health-emergency-as-omicron-xbbpoint1point5-spreads.html
Yeah, your restaurant still needed to be forcibly closed well into 2023 … finally ending May 11, 2023. Jussssssst a bit more than the two weeks to flatten the curve (which was ‘scientifically calculated’) … because ‘Omicron 1.5. The most communicable … uniformly un-dangerous variant of any virus ever to face mankind.
Two weeks to flatten the curve? How about more than three years … and the government was still advising people to stay away from other humans.
SCIENCE! Not a speck of malice.
But, forgive them, for they know not what they did.
Right?
As if. And as if.
That’s a funny one.
Fauci couldn’t say he was sorry. He was in a show trial intended to get him to purjure himself or reveal information that could be used in charges against him from state prosecutors. An apology could be construed as an admission of guilt which could used in such prosecutions. The only thing he could do was invoke the 5th amendment.
And in case you’re wondering, Fauci was only pardoned against federal prosecution, not state.
Sure he could say he was sorry…..the only reason he wouldn’t is because he lied constantly during the pandemic. But you see, he received a “pardon” from the autopen. Saying “sorry” isn’t a crime. Fauci should be on trial in an international court because it was his funding of the EcoHealth at the Wuhan lab that killed millions worldwide. He is an international criminal.
No, but it could be exploited by prosecutors who charge him with actual crimes. In Ontario, they brought in a law where an accused saying “sorry” is not to be construed as an admission of guilt, as crown prosecutors would often argue that it was:
https://www.canlii.org/en/on/laws/stat/so-2009-c-3/latest/so-2009-c-3.html
This is why anyone who may be charged with a crime needs to keep their yap shut, no matter how innocuous they think their comments are.
Ontario isn’t in the U.S. Fauci deserves to be charged with crimes….which is why he got a “pardon” from the autopen. He deserves to be charge with crimes globally.
Correct. Ontario isn’t in the US. So Fauci better not apologize for anything, as future prosecutors would almost certainly use that against him.
“Fauci couldn’t say he was sorry.”
You know, watching you defend that little goblin is turning my stomach, mammal. What was done there is indefensible, and you know it. There lawyerly protestations of yours are a disgrace.
I hope they pay you enough for this to be worth it, the notion that you’d be doing it for free is nightmarish.
I’m not defending him here. I’m explaining his legal situation. You seem to have trouble differentiating the two. Perhaps it’s too nuanced for you.
Get off your high horse. You seem quite enamored with yourself.
If Phantom wants to accuse me of being paid off, I’ll accuse him of being a bit thick.
Take it up with Phantom.
“I’m not defending him here. I’m explaining his legal situation.”
I do not pretend to be a legal scholar, but when somebody begins a comment with “Fauci couldn’t say he was sorry” and then goes on in the next breath to characterize a legitimate hearing in the US Senate as a “show trial” I’m feeling pretty safe in my interpretation of your intent.
Nightmarish. But expected.
Almost all show trials are legitimate, meaning they are in complete accordance with the laws of the land. That doesn’t make them less of a show trial.
This was a highly public event meant to humiliate Fauci, and if possible, get him to perjure himself so they can nail his ass to the wall. And if Fauci didn’t co-operate in his own incrimination, he would hit be with contempt of congress. Heads we win, tails you lose. No matter whether Fauci is innocent or guilty of any crime, he loses. That’s how show trials work.
And it didn’t help that the chair of the senate hearing was Rand Paul, who had repeatedly stated before the hearing that he wanted Fauci behind bars.
The thing is, we all know plenty of people who would and do do this for free, every day. The fact that he’s pivoting to argue legal minutiae argues in favour of this, I think. He’s too emotionally invested in his own moral and intellectual rectitude to accept that Fauci’s diaries are the medical equivalent of the Venona Intercepts. And he’s too emotionally invested in his own moral and intellectual rectitude to let a rebuttal opportunity pass, but he can’t argue against Fauci’s admissions in his own hand that he was lying and the downstream implication that everything he’s been snootily correcting us over for months is in fact dead wrong.
All he can do argue legal trivia. His ego can’t handle anything else.
Also just for fun, here’s the giant rat balls link again. Peer-reviewed science!
The results of criminal trials can depend on such “minutiae”. That’s why Fauci and his lawyer took his 5th amendment rights so seriously.
Such minutiae bamboozle the ignorant. That’s why Fauci and his lawyer (and his devotees) flaunt them.
The farce of Covid changed this nation. It showed me, personally, that I live surrounded by camp guards in waiting, who will drop a dime on anyone if they think they’ll get a brownie point for it, or just out of spite. The spite is the main motivator, to my eye. What does the little block-captain type really get out of squealing on a neighbor’s birthday party? It’s just hatred. Creepy, hateful, spiteful little goblins. On my street. Wow.
But it also showed me the number of honorable people who won’t be bullied into compliance. A healthy number, I must say. Sad that so few of the people I expected to step up did so. Surprised by the unexpected ones who did.
Therefore I do not despair or give up. But I do stay on watch for the spiteful, and I shun them. A useful sorting of the wheat from the chaff.
But there’s a lot of chaff, and the government is run by it. Spiteful little block-captains scrounging for an excuse to push you around. Frankly, having lived here 60 years, having the scales fall from my eyes and seeing what’s really up, it sucks. I liked it better the other way, when we all still thought most people were decent, and Nazi Germany was a special case. They’re not, and it wasn’t. We live there. Didn’t see that one coming.
I have to say … as a lifelong CAL fan, I have ALWAYS liked Aaron Rogers … who would have gone much higher in the draft if not for his coach … who I came to detest, Jeff Tedford, hadn’t dissuaded NFL scouts from selecting him … it’s why he still refuses to say CAL as the college he came from, and instead says Butte Junior College … where his coach trained him, loved him, and respected him.
But Aaron Rogers took the heat and the HATE for doing the right thing … and logically examining the bullshit “science” propagated about COVID. So VERY MUCH respect. A man’s man. God Bless you Aaron! You picked apart the COVID lies like you pick apart a disguised NFL defense.
No they are not. The one’s running the scam knew it was a scam, and those beneath them who believed it at the time either still believe it, supported it, or are too embarrassed by their stupidity and scared for their futures to stand up.
” … but he was never acting alone. Governors issued orders. County health departments enforced them. School boards complied. Corporate executives complied. Church leaders complied. Republicans complied.”
And it was the same thing on the federal level. Right to the top.
“And it was the same thing on the federal level. Right to the top.”
Yes. Donald Trump was so proud of his “vaccine” developed in just 9 months. (Record Time!)
He wanted to brag about it as a major accomplishment in his 2024 campaign, but his re-election team had to take him aside and explain to him that most Republican voters had a bad reaction to the very idea and could he please just drop it.
Even more than that,
news went with the most spectacular versions of the information available.
local politicians went with protecting against what the news talked about.
we had one local senior police offical talking about locking people up caught on the street if they walked past his stopped patrol car.
What we ended up with something that was perhaps twice as bad as the flu if properly treated.
yes people die of the flu, a friend lost his wife’s father at 99 to it. But unless you over 80 not something to worry about.
I have no idea how some Americans managed to have multiple family members die of it ,perhaps from lack of proper treatment.
Nobody I knew in the slightest died from covid but perhaps half a dozen vaccine injuries, the young guy who sat behind me at work in 2020, he had a health condition that would eventually kill him but he was fine at that moment, his greek mum took him to the doctor, doctor refused to give him the vaccine as his health issue would not be made worse by covid but the vaccine could be an issue, took him to a second doctor, got a vaccine, within a week his heart was stuffed, can never work again.
