Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

We have a good friend in PA who has been coming up here to hunt deer for close to 20 years. He texted me last night to say he was thinking of writing blubber douggie to thank him for the tasty, tariff-free, Ontario venison they had for supper.
My reply: no sense giving the show-boating greaseball any ideas.
Baaaaa
This fall, instead of the flu shot, Canadian Gov’t should mandate a TDS shot for all Elbows Up crowd.
Makes sense unfortunately. Canadian electorate has been groomed for decades to be entitled spineless lemmings. Heck, a clown-moron like Blackie was voted in 3 times, and a no-character guy like Carney voted in after that.
Kemptville is well within the triangle Ottawa-GTA-Montreal, which is the heart of the forever-Librano$-voting base, so of course they’re stinking rats.
If a regular LCBO cannot have American wine on the shelves, I wonder what would happen if you go out in GTA or in Ottawa downtown with a MAGA red hat?
Oh, the horror! What’s next, American movies at the theatre, American cars on the streets?
Good gawd, are these people eating mushrooms? If the US retaliates it will kill the BC wine industry and Ontario’s wines?
Why would Americans drink Canadian plonk? Canada had a wine deficit of $1.84 billion in 2025. When I was a tough young-un and I could handle the puking I would drink Canadian wine.
A tweet from “Rational Posts”… I wish I thought of it. So true.
The Covidians have been redeployed to be Elbowzians.
Same demographic, same medical professionals, same critical thinking skills, same virtue-signaling, same petty authoritarianism.
They have been redeployed.”
And some in Alberta want to remain in this mess?
Really?
To what end and how else are we going to humiliate ourselves?
They said that the bottles were dusty (I think trying to intimate that they were not selling). I did not see any dust?
Was the store an LCBO outlet? If not, who cares? I think Blubber Doug just ordered the booze off the LCBO shelves. I doubt he has the authority to ban sales elsewhere.
Wine???
Wait until they see the American pickles, jam and peanut butter on the shelves.
All the Canadian cucumbers got to the USA for processing. Only 3 tomato mannerisms, excluding private companies, dealing in tomatoes and they are precarious. If we could package stupid we would have warehouses full of such
The beaver-app woman couldn’t look down her nose with an ounce more of superior condesension. Wonder which Liberal arts acting skool she attended?
