Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Funny enough, I ordered extra firewood this winter.
I’m currently felling, blocking and stacking it like a mad ant.
The reports say it was the line 5 natural gas line affected, not the crude oil. So looks like the oil will still flow.
This does, though, show the vulnerability of central Canada reliance on oil pipelines running through the USA with no way to reroute through Canada in the case of an accident. Energy East would have provided more security, increased oil sales to Europe through east coast ports and made the case for Alberta independence weaker. Too bad the short sightedness and petty regional jealousies of Canadian politics got in the way.
If Line 5 crude had been affected, I’m guessing the oil would have been rerouted to other oil pipelines in the USA and/or the SPR.
I think the natural gas is used to heat homes in the winter. Shutting it down would be condemning several million people to death. Not exactly what you want to be in the history books for.
Sadly, I’m not convinced that politicians of today give a shit about condemning several million people to death. I’m starting to think they couldn’t care less.
an unoccupied parked semi truck rolled into an excavation pit?? Was the Indian driver off for a whiz somewhere and forgot to put on the hand brake?
Likely he was still in the cab of the truck, dropping a deuce through the hole he cut in the floor. (common practice among those of the curry persuasion.) Perhaps Peterbilt and Kenworth should offer this trapdoor as an option.
Someone is getting a strong talking to.
E-mergen-cy Brake.
Can you say that in Punjabi? Label it in Punjabi?

Huh, I seem to be on a 1966 music bender … with ‘Singh’ in the title
… and we’ll be in our way …
What a racistly accurate thing to say!
All of you!
How dare you?!
In addition to a pipeline blockade of oil to our eastern “betters”, maybe Ontario needs to experience the uncertainty of the possible shuttering of the automotive factories. Relying on a weak dollar to make your goods more attractive to the U.S. is not a sound business plan (when there is a trade agreement in place). Perhaps a 100% tariff on Bombardier aircraft will clip the wings of those smug Quebecers too. This new-found patriotism of the elbozos is comical – these same idiots used to be bewildered about U.S. patriotism and chide them regularly. Let the east enjoy paying triple for their dairy, this Albertan will be voting for the end of our serfdom (independence) in October. Hopefully Saskatchewan will join up. Bring on the 12 ft. razor wire along the BC and MB borders.
“This new-found patriotism of the elbozos is comical…”
Well, it’s different when they do it! [my eyes are rolling so hard]
L – Border controls should include a Texas gate, to prevent the sheeple, the political livestock bringing their idea parasites across. Also needed are big signs reading: “Trigger warning, you are entering a free speech zone.” “Facts don’t care about your feelings.”
Oh stop you tease…
Can we have a triple fence along the borders of those commie shitholes with anti-personell mines in one corridor and dogs in the other? Oh, and with a video feed so we can all watch the fun!!!
There was a tariff on Bombardier aircraft, so Airbus opened a second production line in Alabama. This plant was opened in 2015, during Obama’s presidency.
The plant also builds the A320.
God has a sense of humor?
L – That would support the argument from design.
What are the odds of this situation happening? Something very fishy going on here.
Safety first,Wisconsin must shutdown all flow east of Iron County until the pipelines are certified safe,by Albertan experts…
Safety first,as only Can Ahh Duh does it!
GYM and his friend Ron were driving the truck in question. Well, Ron was driving, GYM was providing road head.
