Here on the Wet Coast, er Left Coast, it has been a moderate summer.
The real warm days so far were in mid-June.
Here we are a month later, and while it’s been pleasant, it has not been Hot, defined as days where the mercury hits 30C in the rainbow stained streets of Victoria. In fact, hitting 25 has been rare.
We travelled out to Port Renfrew for lunch yesterday, and had to have the heater going in the ragtop from Sooke there and back.
We usually have that 3 or 4 day stretch of Hot days by now.
Same goes for the South Okanagan, they usually have that week or two stretch of 37-40C by now, but not this year
