  1. It’s nice to see these bloggers and YouTube guys turning their spotlight on Canada. Our government is playing footsie with murderous communists and insane Islamists, so they should be seen for what they are.

As Kathy Shaidle used to say, they’re the type of people who would have been hiding Nazis in their attic instead of Jews.

  2. I leared everything I needed to know about Canada, the EU, and the UK in Econ 101 … as a College Freshman (actually I leared it in HS … as we had an Econ class as an elective course). TANSTAAFL

The Free Lunches are coming to a screeching halt. The bills are coming due … and the middle class working suckers are paying the fare. And to make it worse … the Badorangeman is no longer footing the bill either.

    1. That reminded me what Zappa said about freedom.

Frank Zappa’s quote critiques the nature of perceived freedom in society. He states: “The illusion of freedom will continue as long as it’s profitable to continue the illusion. At the point where the illusion becomes too expensive to maintain, they will just take down the scenery, they will pull back the curtains, they will move the tables and chairs out of the way and you will see the brick wall at the back of the theater”

        1. Cool. I remember that album. Gonna dig it up online. Alas, we don’t have good vinyl stores in the valley and I refuse to go to Vancouver.
PS…Did you know that Jimi Hendrix gave Randy California that stage name because there were 2 Randy’s in Jimi’s 1966 band called Jimmy James and the Blue Flames. Jimi called the other guy Randy Texas.
PPS….if you want to dig deeper into a Spirit related band, check ou one that California formed called Captain Copter and his Amazing Twirlybirds. (I think that was the correct name).

          1. Kaptain Kopter and the Fabulous Twirlybirds.
I stand myself corrected and also apologize for being off topic. It’s the risk I take to assist Kenji with his vinyl jones.

    2. ‘leared’ HA HA HAAAA!! (says a lot kj. oh ya. you do ‘get’ Cdn humour, the best of it being based on REAL
      events and REAL people)

    3. Canaduh is running out of lenders. l found out that the TURDeau accelerated that process by years? decades? aka how else to interpret the fact he created MORE DEBT that *all other prime ministers c-o-m-b-i-n-e-d*

      https://www.ceicdata.com/en/indicator/canada/national-government-debt

staggering, monstrous increases. l truly believe the TURDeau 2.0 put us ‘over the tipping point’. somehow
my warnings, concerns and protests were drowned out by the incessant pep rally mentality fawning
over the TURDeau 2.0 and now the TURDeau 3.0 substitute clone.

  3. I won’t often watch 30 minute plus videos. Personal mileage varies, I usually find there isn’t enough actual content to keep me interested. There definitely is in this case. Much that I knew, many little gems like Elon Musk’s 2 years in Canada before leaving to the states (for economic reasons — Canadians are not allowed to profit from excellence in the same way as ‘Murekins). The affect of the trans-mountain pipeline on WTS (and the governmental price inflation in its build being publicly noted) are another.

    Thanks for posting, Robert!

    1. It really says something that Elon decided he couldn’t get ahead here in Canuckistan and left for the USA. I did the same thing.

Elon was luckier with La Migra though, I’d still be in Arizona if the Immigration a-holes could do their jobs. It was the 1990s, Somali goat herders and Mexican chicken-pluckers were getting Green Cards, university educated Canadians were -not-.

      1. Phantom, I struggled at the same time as you to get my green card and US citizenship. As a white Canadian married straight male I had an almost impossible time in getting a green card and it almost broke me. The stress almost cost me my marriage and sanity. But I finally got it and US citizenship of which now I am so grateful.

    2. I haven’t lived in Canada for more than 30 years and I’m surprised how far the country has fallen and how fast.

I used to go back every twos years to visit family and friends in Toronto and area and in Calgary and area, usually with my wife. My mother and sister came to visit us in every alternate year.

The last time I was there was in 2017 to be with my mother during the final few weeks of her life. Up to that time I have to say I didn’t notice much in the way of the horrible mess that has afflicted it during the past decade.

  4. my life experience reflects this, just sold my 5th house, l truly fear for and grieve the GHASTLY job and housing market today’s 20s 30s and 40s face. hint gen ‘whatever’: DONT F’ING VOTE LIBERAL. alas, deaf ears syndrome.

aka lm outta hear/here. up their arse. hard. repeated. harder. they either DIE/DEI or wake up.
