You Don’t Hate the Media Nearly Enough

Here’s is Caylan’s Substack article that summarizes what transpired.

  1. A good example of the Nancy Pelosi “wrap-up smear”, also called drive by smear:
    1. Make up a falsehood.
    2. Have the media report on it
    3. Use the press reports to validate the original lie.

      1. oh ya, THAT lying p.o.s.
there is a clip of him ripping into Candance Owens about ‘something’, so she tore a huge chuck off HIS backside up and down and rightfully accused him of taking her words out of context and in fact iifc restated what the quote AND context was.
        found it. real easy.

oh really? NOT THE WHOLE THING???
see how it works? see the manipualtion?
        p.s. ‘lieu’ s.b. LIE

    1. This is how the Russian collusion worked, or a variation thereof. Steele made the dossier under contract from Hillary. He shopped it around for some media to publish its existance (Yahoo picked it up). The FBI turned around and “noticed” it was a story of public interest, therefore had grounds to investigate it (they need not have worried, McCain sent an aide to get it in London and gave a copy to the FBI). When Comey “briefed” Trump about it, he was not really briefing him, he was interviewing him as a suspect without a lawyer present (Comey said so himself) and wrote the interview report in the car coming back from the White House while it was still fresh in his mind. Result: Trump under investigation by the FBI for Russian collusion.

  2. Let’s hope this trial will get covered in a manner that is credible – i.e. , not the CBC.

  3. Who is financing the effort? Will the CBC et al be able to simply outspend the opposition using taxpayer dollars?

  4. uhuh.
this phenomenon, the ‘blindly ganging up’ thing is what got naziism started.
its why mao’s cultural revolution went as far as it did (notwithstanding mao KNEW it would work)
l remember high school history, when ltaly was a collection on fiefdoms, there was a social norm in place. to whit a ‘gentleman’ would assuredly NEVER make a false accusation against another ‘gentleman’ because, well, it was ‘ungentlemanly’.
    and. guess. what. followed.
yep, careers ruined, reputations destroyed, property seized businesses destroyed.
and DARING to object against the accusation was. well, PROOF the target was a scoundrel.
from around the 15th century or so.
so now we see from this dear lady’s experience, the phenomenon is still VERY MUCH ALIVE.

  5. You go, girl.

Sue them into oblivion. Render them penniless and homeless where possible for their odious lies and flagrant disregard for the truth. Ensure that they will *never do it again* to anyone else.

    1. I’d move heaven and earth to get my kid in that Charter School.

But then my kids could never get hired by any segment of our woke society as things such as Western Civilization and Western Culture are derided and dismissed

      1. Not all of society is woke, just the leftard segment is. You sure do generalize a lot.

Also, I thought your kids were adults and doing well in the real world.

  6. I just read the Statement of Claim filed by Ford’s attorneys. The instigator of everything comes back to Karim A. Jivraj. And, provided the plaintiff’s account is true, I’d get a restraining order against him. He’s obviously obsessed with Ms. Ford. And, the lengths he went to over a lengthy period of time comes across as more than opposition. It seems unhealthy. This goes well beyond opposition politics and dirty tricks.

    It’s creepy.

    1. Is Karim Trans? Or just Trans friendly? It would be good to know what the psychotropic drug load is on this unhinged leftist. It might want to be noted on the restraining order paperwork.

    2. ” It seems unhealthy. This goes well beyond opposition politics and dirty tricks. ”

Agreed. That’s why I hope she nails him with everything possible…maybe make him into a cautionary tale for others thinking about smearing and slandering someone in the same manner.

      1. OH MY…look what I found:

(((Alberta’s Court of King’s Bench granted Ford a permanent restraining order and victorious harassment lawsuit against Karim Jivraj. The court also found Jivraj guilty of contempt for violating an interim restraining order.)))

Jivraj is unhinged, it would appear. I got the creepy vibes off of him after reading the Statement of Claim. Apparently, there’s more to this story than is available in the filings.

        1. his facebook page disses the falun gong ‘cult’ so l attempted to post a link to a Globe news story how the chirese authorities murder the followers and carve them up for organ donation. the comment was blocked, this guy DETESTS the truth looks like.
gawd l hope the plaintiff eviscerates this hard core LIEberal. maybe follow up with a run at getting him disbarred?
lm waiting confirmation on Ford’s email so l can do an e-transfer.
l wanna be able to boast l helped her a little bit to win the lawsuit.
noteworthy: a defendant ALREADY settled out of court 1/4 mill.
doesnt bode well for the ‘ringleader’

  7. Caylan Ford became a marked woman when she started making documentaries about just how awful a place Red China is.

I seriously doubt any evidence will be presented confirming that orders came from St. Patrick Street to silence Caylan. That is a pity, because when the entire Canadian media moves against someone, it’s invariably against someone the CCP consider a threat to their dominion of Chinada Province.

    1. I’m old enough to remember when Hollywood wasn’t intimidated by Red China … and told historic TRUTH in their films … such as the excellent Red Violin … which explores the multi hundred year journey of a rare violin through the hands of multiple owners in multiple countries.

The Struggle Session as Mao’s Youthful Red Guard destroyed western music and instruments of that music.

You need to warn readers that is a link to something rivalling War And Peace in length.

But good luck to her regardless!!

  9. “Among my few public supporters were friends who had fled Communist China. They recognized what had happened to me. They had a name for it: I had been the target of a douzheng campaign, they said. A “struggle.” … anything short of complete submission to the new orthodoxy would not be tolerated. Informants were everywhere and, as in all totalitarian projects, the boundary between public and private spheres collapsed. It wasn’t enough for a person to toe the line outwardly; even contrary thoughts, uttered in secret, were perilous. Bonds of friendship and trust were under constant threat: you never knew who might inform on you, or which of your friends you would be asked to denounce. To the extent that people had any private doubts about Communist rule, or any sympathy or affection toward the accused, they learned to keep those thoughts to themselves.

“The purpose of the struggle sessions was not to persuade anyone of the truth of Communist propaganda. The purpose was to terrorize, and more importantly to demoralize. As the British essayist Anthony Daniels put it, “when people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is to co-operate with evil, and in some small way to become evil oneself. One’s standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. A society of emasculated liars is easy to control.

“Why were people demanding that I apologize for harm that I had not caused? Did they hope to have a relationship with me? If I had apologized, would they have welcomed me back into society? Research says otherwise: rather than repairing the bonds of comity, public apologies can actually exacerbate hostility toward the person apologizing, confirming the original charge and exposing them to even greater contempt and outrage.

“To the ideologue, the source of suffering and inequity lies not in the heart of each person, but arises from the faulty organization of the world. Solving the problem of injustice and suffering is thus reduced to the simple matter of dismantling the existing order and beginning anew. In their hubris, the ideologue does not admit the stubborn permanence of human nature: once properly organized, they think, our capacity for selfishness and avarice will disappear, and everyone will live together in freedom and equality. Ideological projects are thus never oriented toward the perfection of the individual soul, but always toward the perfection of systems. The whole of moral conduct is thereby reduced to holding the correct opinions. Love becomes an abstract principle, expressed not in our treatment of our fellows, but in holding the correct opinions – or in having the right enemies.

“The people demanding apologies were clearly not interested in persuading or educating me, even though I was openly solicitous of dialogue. Neither were they interested in my moral improvement. To the contrary, they seemed to be pursuing my moral debasement. Whether someone demands that you apologize and repent for beliefs that you do not actually hold, or for beliefs that you do honestly hold, they are demanding that you lie.

“When you go through trials, ask yourself: when I look back at this years hence, will I be proud of the person I became when my character was tested? Did I bear my fate with grace? Was I just, and grateful, and equanimous? And if not, and if the trial is ongoing, then be glad: you still have chances.

… “the line separating good and evil passes not through states, nor between classes, nor between political parties either, but right through every human heart, and through all human hearts.” Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn

“Any attempt to order a political community toward goodness thus depends on individuals achieving order and justice in their own hearts—through temperance and self-discipline, honesty, and the practice of virtue.”
