      1. Net cost … including transportation. As the price rises … the profitability of extracting US potash starts looking better and better. The Map REALLY favors that. The logistics REALLY favor that.

    What would happen if Auto workers did a wildcat strike? I have no doubt that would really throw the proverbial monkey wrench into the works of the North American Auto Industry. Will they do that?     1. I’ve sort of joked about it but am now coming around to the idea that maybe we actually should just shut it all in and stop producing. That’s what the rest of the country is asking for and richly deserves. Eff ’em.

    2. A little anecdote on that topic: my husband works logistics for a multi-national. Orders from Canadian suppliers are way down, but production hasn’t shown much corresponding decline. They’re re-routing to supply from Mexico.

  4. I wonder if this clown realizes that in 2024, Ontario IMPORTED power from the U.S. B.C. always gets power from Washington State and Ontario gets the crude for its refineries from a pipeline from the U.S.

        50% of the gasoline to SW BC, and Avgas to YVR comes from the WA refineries.

  7. Saskatchewan’s potash is our potash. Alberta’s oil is our oil. Quebec’s electricity is Quebec’s electricity. But Quebec’s dairy is our dairy. Not sure how all this works.

    Hey remember that time that eastern Canada elected people who passed laws limiting the amount we could charge them for domestic oil? and the amount in dollars that sucked out of western Canada? and then they limited how much we could export?
