Don’t count your chickens before they hatch.

I note that the Dems have been much more successful at gerrymandering Congressional districts than Republicans.
This may lead to a Dem majority in the House.

  2. I take Rubio with a big grain of salt. Anyone can say anything. Anyone can pretend. The simple fact of the matter is that Rubio was a player in the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. And, thus, he’s compromised. The SSCoI was instrumental in supporting any means necessary to remove Trump from the candidacy (and free society in general).

So, while everyone else is listening to his speeches (the Munich one in particular) and patting him on the back while talking about his political future in the next breath, I’m skeptical. I see it more as an attempt to push Rubio ahead of Vance as a viable 2028 candidate. I still think Rubio is playing the role of “sleeper.” And the usual suspects are bending over backwards to rehabilitate the reputation of a life long politician, who I might add voted against enforcing immigration laws througout his career both on the National level and Federal.

  3. The deep state plan has now collapsed.”
If no one can define it how would you know it’s gone?

  4. I listened to Rubio’s speech. He was reaching out to Europe with an olive branch.

I listened to Carney’s speech. He was anti-American with a warning to Europe that a tear in the matrix has occurred and Canada and Europe need to stick together.

I listened to the German Chancellor’s speech. His was part warning, part bragging about how Germany will rescue Europe (if you read through the lines). This 5% of GDP on military spending seems pure fantasy. He did caution that the EU is going in the wrong direction at the moment.

Only America (Rubio) really addressed the issue – China is ascending and is not the friend of the west.

Carney’s speech troubled me the most. He spoke of the great things he has done since getting into power including cutting taxes. None of his claims have materialized. Is it too early? Or do we have yet another false prophet running Canada?

  5. Marco Rubio talks about the decline of the Western Alliance.

Western culture is worth defending and it needs to be defended together. The Euphoria over winning the cold war with the Soviet Union has led to de-industrialization, making the west very dependent on China.
