  1. I guess that Nenshi holds dual “city-zan” ship in Alberia, so it’s ok/
This is why I maintain that “wexit” is a pipe dream.
The guys with hat and cattle are a fast diminishing factor, while the populous cities have long been taken by the no cattle invaders.
Will Gondyke get a second term while king ralph spins?
    Etc.

  2. l used to think ‘in the age of internet with 10,000 amateur fact checkers dont they know their going to be found out?
the answer that has come to me is, yep, they bloody well do BUT are counting on polite Canaduhians doing nuthin about it.
at the very least their machinations at some point turn into a fait accompli.
and polite Canaduhians do a collective shrug. and vote for more of it.

  3. Just mail it in … voila! A permanent supermajority leftist cabal.

Be “safe” … never vote in-person

  4. “Looks like @Landonforward14, the man behind the Recall Gondek campaign will win Ward 14. It took longer than expected, but he has finally Recalled Gondek.”

Vote counts may take longer than usual, now that electronic vote counting has been removed a candidate has to wait until the votes are actually counted rather than “knowing” that there are sufficient votes dialed in…

  5. An ok winner for Calgary mayor, my first pick last time, but not this time. Mostly good, count as a win.

And the winner in my ward, by 2:1 over my pick ( in second place) is someone who has no yard signs in my neighbourhood. Hmm. WUWT?

  6. The good news was that the scanner/tabulators were gone. All paper ballots.
My choices were in the top two or three. The council winner in my ward is acceptable for now. The new mayor lost my support when he came out as an idiot land-acknowledger.
