Jacinda Ardern: “I made mistakes – but I was human”

The infamous Kiwi totalitarian thug of the Covid era now wants sympathy:

Ardern stressed that Covid-19 was not the sole reason for her decision to step away from politics, but acknowledged the pandemic’s heavy toll.

“I never pinpointed Covid specifically, because in part I think it was just an accumulation of crises. Five years of leadership felt like 10 – that’s probably what I would say.

“As much as you were trying to make the best possible decisions, inevitably there were consequences for people, and people didn’t always believe it was the right thing to do.”

For those who have forgotten, here are some highlights of her authoritarian tyranny: 1 2 3

  1. Lots of excellent examples of how little it takes for politicians to go full dictator on the flimsiest of excuses. A free people should NOT grant government ANY “emergency” powers. They always abuse that privilege.

And never elect into power the hall monitor who got wedgied into psychosis. (Kenney, Ardern,Freeland, Trudeau etc). Ha

(And nobody believes that Ardern is human). Gimme a break.

    1. doan fergit SDA, ‘government’ is only *other people*; flawed, corruptible, uninformed, agenda driven, selfish, reflex liars ie even when they dont have to, PEOPLE.
with way to much power. given to them by other flawed, selfish, uninformed etc PEOPLE so stop harping ‘government’ should ‘do something’

  2. Hitler and Stalin considered themselves human too.

““I never pinpointed Covid specifically, because in part I think it was just an accumulation of crises.”

The phrasing of a lying weasel. They should use this sentence in Investigative Interviewing 101 classes.

  3. FILTHY LIBERALS

HANG THIS WITCH FROM A TELEPHONE POLE.
    THEN BURN THE CARCASS
THEN BURY THE ASHES AND SALT THE EARTH SO NOTHING GROWS NEAR THIS POS HUMAN

    FILTHY LIBERALS

  4. My MIL is a clinically diagnosed narcissist who my wife has been no contact with for years.

Back when she was talking to her, I remember that my MIL was as a nonstop stream of stories about how people in her life had wronged her, but any potential discussion of anything she herself had done wrong was quickly shut down with the excuse “I’m only human”.

  5. Ardent was drunk on power.

Drunks don’t make rational or wise decisions.

She was given orders and she followed them with ruthless vengeance on all who questioned or rebelled. She was a good little WEF soldier, imposing the will of her masters. Now her weasle-words are making herself out to be a victim, to be felt sorry for because she had “hard” choices to make.

Public execution should be in order if she does not have a deep repentance. If not, she and God can have a face-to-face and work things out.

  6. The quotes and words from the links, effectively described Trudeau accurately, as well. It’s jarred some not so distant memories that had been backshelved.
The Covid response was co-ordinated amongst the WEF subset of Fascist leaders. Their responses, phrasing, attitudes and actions, were all eerily the same.
    Globally co-ordinated.
Here’s the quote about Ardern, but easily describes Trudeau. And Newsome. And Horgan, Ford, every premier in this country and European leaders.
I hope this doesn’t bring out a PTSD day, today. The anger this stirs up, not just what they did, but none of them have paid for their tyranny, whatsoever.
“ COVID exposed this woman for what she is: a nasty fascist who revelled in using medical apartheid to divide society and an authoritarian socialist who wants to crush freedom of speech by censoring those who hold alternative opinions—while she herself has a track record of peddling falsehoods and misinformation.“

  7. “I made mistakes – but I was human”

Let’s see if I can translate:

“I was a dumb beeotch, and everybody told me to calm the f- down, but I went ahead anyway and it turned out badly just like they said it would. – But I’m a socialist, so shut the f- up peasants!!!! Where’s my f-ing drink?!”

  8. Just another power-mad skank who proved that women can be as dreadful as men when they’re backed by the jackboot of the state.

As Warren Zoell correctly wrote, she took away everyone’s guns because of one nutjob.
“Let’s Punish Everybody” was, is and always shall be the doctrine of mental fckholes who don’t deserve the steam of an old dog’s piss.

    1. In America, in 2020 – 2022, several of the most prominent totalitarian governors were women. They all subscribed to the concept of “Safetyism”, which promotes Safety Above All Else. Yet, they NEVER think about the longterm damage that safetyism does to people. Look at the sad state of so many young people as a result of severe lockdowns during their formative years.

  9. She should be in handcuffs, not doing interviews and podcasts. The fact she is doing the apology tour shows just how brainwashed the masses are.

  10. “…that’s probably what I would say.”

When people use this qualifier, it is a confirmation of insincerity. Anything said before and after is a “test balloon.” Usually, it is a sign of over-preparation for that very question they are answering. And, subconsciously, there is underlying guilt about how the encompassing preparation took on a more prominent role than candor and honesty.

There is an entire lexicon of similar phrases.

  11. “But I meant well”..
So sorry all them dumb citizens lost their illusions of rights and freedoms..
“But at least the dead, did not die of Covid”.
“Look what you made me do!.”
    Ungrateful peons.
Well sure, old horse face is the victim,in her eyes..
For New Zealanders elected her,her party made her Prime Minister, while any sane person could see how inadequate she is and was..

    NZ got what they elected.
Justine and Carney being Canada’s evidence of same idiocy.

    1. Those elections were manipulated and they never won any election. The vote counters manipulated the results and selected these chosen servants of evil.

  12. A lot of mea culpas flying around these days – Enter one Malcom Gladwell, he of the intelligentsia jet set as I like to call them and a likeable Canadian to boot.
He’s now backtracking on his ‘men in women’s in sports’ position from a few years ago…saying he got it all wrong and was cowed into it because stating the obvious about the physiological differences between men and women would negatively impact the lifestyle he’s become accustomed too. I made the last part up…but he may as well have said it.

Not exactly a profiles in courage moment for Mac who likely witnessed some of his colleague’s careers and lives get absolutely wrecked for initially swimming against the current.

I dunno…the ol’ “Hey, I’m only human” just isn’t working for me these days.

  13. Not just politicians. Unelected and unaccountable bureaucrats are even worse. Where else can someone absolutely destroy people’s lives with no repercussions? “Oh shuckie darn. I made an error. Oh well, no one (despite I demanded perfection of you) is perfect.”

  14. The d’under equivalent of Governor Hair Gel from California, although he’s more effeminate.

      1. Well, I woudn’t say I have to love ’em, but it does seem a shame that they can’t be put to good industrial use. You could take down substantial stands of timber pretty efficiently with those choppers.

  15. “We need to understand what’s standing in our way of being able to have respectful dialogue that doesn’t descend into violence.”

Meaning the bad violence, not the good State violence that she happily visited on her subjects.

“I haven’t hesitated to demonstrate that I was a human in leadership – made mistakes, hopefully got a few things right as well – but ultimately still a human, and I think we should be willing to demonstrate that in leadership.”

The fact that she felt that State control of everything was leadership is the problem.
If she did it again she’d still use the ‘State knows best’ after being shown that it doesn’t.
She thinks she just used the wrong fascist moves, she doesn’t understand that her fascism is the mistake.
