The Crown Royal recall from broken glass content probably isn’t helping…

Here’s where I remind you for the second time … this week … that I bought the Apr. 1, 2025 DIP you were advised to flee! You were advised that Trump’s tariffs were gonna CRASH the American, nay the WORLDs economy. Nope. Again … the highest return yet to date on my DIP purchases.
“Run!!! Pull your money OUT of the US Stock Market!!” screamed the experts. “Trump is an idiot!”
I did the exact opposite … and have never made so much money, so fast, ever before in my investing lifetime.
I bought the dip – April 5 to be exact. I’ve done rather well since as well. Anybody who panicked and sold is out a lot of money. The recovery was to say the least – fast.
Who bought the dip in the dip, the dip, the dip? Who put the rang in the ranga-langa-ding-dang?
Doughy Doug is in a bind. They are keeping the distillery operations in Canada for now. Does he ban them because they’re shipping bottled product from the US? If he does, what incentive is there for them to keep the distilling in Canada (other than the capital expense of moving).
No one should be surprised, the bottler is unionized, and in a location with relatively high power costs, and they made the decision that trucking from the distillery in Winnipeg, to somewhere in the states is still cheaper than keeping this location running. When they figure out that Canada is hostile to industries that produce CO2 they will likely move the distiller too.
38,000,000 Canadian customers versus 340,000,000 USA customers, doesn’t take an accountant to figure it out.
I didn’t buy the dip in April, but I didn’t sell either.
My core holding is the ETF XAW which holds the indexes of most of the world’s stock markets – except Canada.
As Kevin O’Leary said – “Canada is uninvestable.”
L – “USA or Bust”, that is the slogan for the Alberta and Saskatchewan Independence referendums.
The carpetbagger in the P.M.O. knows, he is going to make a killing with his(Brookfield) “arms length” investments. The Plandemic sought to destroy citizen faith in institutions and succeeded, so well; that instead of a Canadian policy campaign. He touted a meme based anti- some politician not on the ballot. The Liberal campaign put the conman at the wheel of the Canadian ship of state. With his escape pod in place, as he closes in on the iceberg field. “Full Speed, ahead” he shouts.
Arms-length investment is for knuckle-draggers!
Thanks to the review of all truck driving VISAs in the USA I am informed my greencard application is going to take even longer.
Where is John Galt?

I hope when the book regarding the demise of Canada is written, there is a special chapter in it for the retards that voted commie. Again and again and again.
Avg Canadian: “Muh free teeth, muh free healthcare, muh free heroin, elbows up, muh muh muh govt job!”
I think the #Libranos would rather rule over the ashes of tier 2 Canada, than change direction and do what’s best for the country.
In springtime of 2026, I won’t care anymore. Good luck Canada, and don’t call me.
One of the best aspects of a new Western Nation, remaining independent of but allied with the USA, will be the ability to buy up huge chunks of the Old Canada ,at fire sale prices.
Or have their residents pay to join us.
1 Unless they change their spending, the O.Cs go bankrupt without the Western resource money.
2 Legacy debt and welfare costs exceed their forseeable income.
3 With the right attitude,we could be seen a detriment by others seeking to acquire Bankrupt Canada..
4 With the right incentives we could encourage Old Canada holdouts,to set their own freeloaders adrift on the Ice pack.
5 Policy and politic aside, the West has zero chance of surviving, without cutting off the Welfare State..
For history still teaches, pools of wealth always attract creatures that seek to swim in their waters.
Nations require these pools of wealth to buffer the natural cycles.
Canada is a failed experiment, the rats in the grainary have consumed and polluted all our reserves.
“Investing in Welfare”.
