  7. The Saturday edition of the Winnipeg Free Press featured an oped by Gwynne Dyer in which he breathlessly proclaimed that Tuvalu will be underwater by 2080, and that only immediate geo engineering to cool the earth will save us. What could possibly go wrong?

I don’t know about anyone else but I’m getting a sense that people are giving anthropogenic climate change the side eye – Orrrrrr they’ve asked themselves whether freezing in the dark so the oceans won’t rise an inch or two is in their best interest.

    But you’ll never see a progressive (or collectivist their inevitable end and next higher order of existence) admit they’re wrong, because, like embezzlers and other absconders, any revelation of error invites a flood of detected incongruencies, deceit and outright fabrications.
