Charlie Kirk, Steven Crowder and Matt himself have given us enough examples of American stupidity over the years, so a person might well think that it knows no borders. Still one has to ponder what is the root cause of such stupidity, especially when the elegant simplicity of the US constitution vs the byzantine parliamentary system is considered. the common denominator on both sides of the border is ,of course, public education. It would be bad enough if it was just the poor academic results, but it is the prevalence of socialist dogma, sexual perversion and political power that has ruined public education. And that political power has cowed citizens into believing that there is nothing they can do every time teachers unions threaten to strike.
The late Walter Williams was spot on in his contention that educators occupy the lowest academic level of all disciplines and education reflects that. It is disgraceful that we citizens have allowed them to have the power they now have. Time to pull the pin on this idiocy.
Yes, by all means abandon English, the international language of trade and commerce, in favour of some stone-age obscurity that today is only spoken by four toothless old crones!
