Excellent.
It’d be great at Monte Carlo where the cameras can never show a complete run with all the buildings in place, and maybe much easier as for the reduced speeds too.
and at Japan, for the scenery…
I’d like to see how much Coulthard’s skills have diminished compared to Verstappen’s current form too. Coulthard had done a couple of interesting videos with the Red Bull compared to other cars we think of as “quick” but giving them a minute in headstart before passing them within sight of the finish lap.
I stopped watching F1 a few years back after that prick (don’t recall his name) driver down in Moan Real gave his Globull Warmening speech. Apparently the irony of spewing deadly CO2 into the atmosphere (including all the support transport) in the name of a non-essential sporting event went right over his head.
Sounds like Sebastian Vettel, who is absolutely full of that nonsense.
Drones make great sports coverage,
and will get faster yet.
F1 cars are comparable in acceleration with todays fastest internal combustion production cars…
2025 C8 Corvette ZR1:
336 cubic inch V8
1064 HP
2.3 second 0-60 mph
9.7 second 1/4 mile (1320ft) @ 152 mph
NHRA Top Fuel, example March 28th 2025:
Doug Kalitta
500 cubic inch V8
11,000 HP
3.657 second 0-335.15 mph
in 1000 feet
