    Carney is merely emulating Karen Bass, the mayor of Los Angeles, who went out of the country on vacation last year while the city she was elected to manage burned.

    1. My wife this morning has been relating to me how bad the situation is in B.C. Yet Mr. Laurentian doesn’t seem to notice.

      1. Of course he doesn’t, because British Columbia is the furthest western province. He doesn’t even care about NW Ontario. If the fires were affecting eastern Ontario or Quebec, well, that would be a different kettle of fish altogether.
