On Tuesday, the US Department of Energy announced it would offer a direct loan of up to $6.57 billion (including $5.975 billion of principal and $592 million of capitalized interest) to finance Rivian’s EV factory in Stanton Springs North, near the City of Social Circle, Georgia.
As of Monday’s close, [Rivian] shares were down 50% year-to-date, with about 18% of the float short, equal to about 135 million shares.
l think at this point we all gotta realize the lame duck may be so far gone he is utterly unaware of anything other than unsure if he signed some papers recently.

In Australia, an incoming government takes over pretty well straight away after it is elected. I think we can see the advantage in that now, as pretty well anything could happen in the U.S. between now and when President Trump is sworn in again… If he is, of course!
If Biden resigns, becomes incapacitated or dies in this interregnum, Harris becomes President. And I can see her puppet masters frantically getting her to declare martial law, arresting all opponents and other people troublesome to them, and rendering the election result null and void. They can’t afford not to.
And if President Trump is assassinated? Well…
It didn’t use to be this way. We used to have a sense of proportion and morality in America, where a sense of decency informed the outgoing party that they were lame ducks … they had no public mandate to do ANYTHING. And so they didn’t.
