CTV news writes an utterly one-sided article quoting solely only one source, the Canadian Immigration Lawyers Association, complaining that the Immigration backlog of 1-million applications must be speeded up. The author of this piece? One Aarjavee Raaj.
Born and raised in Mumbai, India.

I know how to speed it up – delete all 1 million.
Two thumbs up!
Not 10 minutes ago I told my wife that I knew exactly how to solve this problem. Cancel all the applications. No one has a right to emigrate to Canaduh. Oh, and fire all staff expected to clear this backlog. And I mean ALL: no skilled, low skilled, medium skilled, high skilled, alleged geniuses. And start spending a small percentage of the mind boggling waste training up young people in high skill occupations.
This backlog could be fixed by simply nullifying all existing applications and refunding the application fee to the applicants. Freeze immigration applications until a new immigration system is designed or go back to the system that actually worked. Somewhat like a business filing for bankruptcy.
Then do a severe pruning of asylum/refugee applications. Deny all claims by people here on a student visa, people convicted of crimes, tfw’s who have overstayed their visa but now claim to be refugees and “refugees” who take vacations in the countries they are supposedly fleeing from. Frankly, I’d argue for only accepting a limited number of refugee application per year from a very small list of countries.
I would not refund any fees. If you apply to go to university, you pay a non refundable fee to each school regardless of whether you’re accepted, at least I did back in 1980.
Agree, no refunds!
Yup, lots of people read/listen to the shyte that CTV spews.
Know your enemy…
But their time is coming to an end and so is CTV’s.
The sooner, the better.
The Legacy media, but especially CTV, never looks for opposing viewpoints when it’s the narrative. It’s only when it’s not the narrative do they find opponents. And, it doesn’t matter who the opposition is as long as it opposes. This has been going on for decades.
Immigration lawyers are shysters. They promise citizenship, but just BLEED their wannabe immigrant customers dry. I personally know half a dozen illegals, who have been in America a decade or more … hard-workers with zero crimes other than overstaying visas (yes, they broke that law) … and who have spent tens of thousands of dollars on Lawyers promising citizenship.
I highly doubt this Punjabi immigration lawyer wants anything changed or fixed … lest he be out of a job.
