  1. I love Dougie Ford’s really tough guy response. Spoken like the true Liberal that he is.

He and the child in Ottawa, that he admires. folded like a dirty old shirt. Instead of saying that Trump stabbed him in the back, he should have been finding ways to cooperate with the Trump Team right from the beginning.

    The Donald called their bluff.

Trump will make Canada great again.

Ford and his ilk have destroyed this once great nation.

    1. I believe it was your little prince in Ottawa that destroyed this country and before that your heroes McGinty and Wynne almost killed the province of Ontario. You should try and engage your brain before posting

      1. The day Stanfield dropped the football during the pickup game on the lawn of parliament hill and the CBC put into action their stories to destroy him. That’s when the the globalists started to take over Canada with the little prince senior and the country was effectively and efficiently destroyed forever.

        1. the impression being made was the TURDeau 1.0 was this ‘virile’ ‘handsome’ (??????? bald, freckles bony pinch face????) clever man about town.
who pirouetted behind the Queen’s back in mock contempt KNOWING IT WOULD GET IN THE NEWS.
oh yes, and a photo of his athletic frame diving into the pool at 24 sussex. that made all the ladies wet too when it hit the newspapers.
stanfield, uh, uh, uh, didnt uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, help uh, uh, uh, uh
the ANNOYING way he uh, uh, uh, uh, uh talked either.

          1. and in truth Stanfield was more the athlete , and of course they covered up PET dalliances with Hadfield and his boys from New Brunswick.

          2. why didnt Stanfield DEMAND retake of the infamous fumble???
HEYO CONSERVATIVES FROM TODAY FOR THE NEXT 600 YEARS IN CANADUH DO NOT EVER TRUST THE MEDIA M’KAY??? THEY ARE *NOT* AND *NEVER WERE* YOUR FRIEND AND IF PP DOES *NOT* DEFUND OR SELL OFF OR OUTRIGHT SCRAP THE CBC THEN YOU ALL FOREVER D-E-S-E-R-V-E TO EXIST IN POLITICAL SQUALOR.

  2. Oil and energy products, lumber, plastics and rubber products, non-metallic mineral products, metal ores:

These are some of the primary exports to the US from Canada. There is currently a $40 Billion trade deficit in Canada’s favor.

Every single one of these exports can be acquired from Argentina. The difference is that Argentina is at a position to want to develop all these markets, and their current political leadership is very supportive on the incoming US administration. What do you think will happen next if Trudeau decides to take a hardline?

    1. L- “An evil ruler will burn his own country to the ground in order to rule over the ashes.”

This thought runs through the mind of every Canadian patriot, who is not under the spell
of Cult. Marxism/Post-modernist indoctrination. Though many Canadians are too frightened
to see themselves as sheep, being shorn and and penned, and sooner or later, herded up the ramp to the abattoir.

    2. There are good reasons politically and economically for the US to maintain good relations with Canada.

Economically, One of the big benefits of keeping on friendly terms with Canada is that the US gets really cheap oil and natural gas because the US is virtually Canada’s only customer. That cheap crude and NG is then resold at world prices by US corps for a tidy profit. Argentina, OTOH, would be in a position to have many countries bid on their oil products so the US would have to offer a more competitive price. If Canada starts shipping to other countries the same thing happens – the US will have to pay more for Canadian oil and gas. That’s exactly what happened this spring when the Transmountain XL pipeline opened, the price of Alberta crude (WCS) increased because Asia and other places want that crude oil too.

Politically, a friendly neighbor is always better than a hostile neighbor. Hostile neighbors with a 6000km plus shared border is not good for either country, particularly considering national security.

The current dustup is a bump in the road caused by Trudeau Liberal-NDP incompetence and arrogance. New leadership in Canada will likely lead to a continuation of a mutually beneficial relationship like the past 100 or so years.

      1. OTOH … BRIAN ZINCHUK has been hoping for higher gas and oil prices for the American consumer … so Trump’s threatened tariffs should be music to Brian’s ears.

  3. Don’t worry. I suffered listening to a soundbite of Blackie after his “chat” with Trump. He said he would meet with Ford, Legault, and “some other premiers” to plan some shite.
That Turd can’t even say he will meet with ALL the Premiers, but that would require demonstrating some due respect to the premiers he didn’t name, especially Dannielle.
I am getting bad “vibes” over how the potato and his twitchy garden gnome will proceed to make matters worse. Maybe they can get Joly of the wraparound hairdo to do some foreign affairs voodoo shite.
FOOK! I am so sick of seeing a dysfunctional student council running (ruining) our country. ARRGH!

  4. Heh.
Trump is going to “help” Canada go bankrupt and then encourage his business friends to buy it up for 40 cents on the dollar.
And all he has to do to help Canada go under…is manage the USA finances properly.
And praise Dear Leader Justine..Who can’t tell sarcasm from praise.

  5. Smith should meet with Trump one on one. Don’t let Trudeau, Ford and Quebec negotiate for Alberta. Do it now! Don’t even consider ‘a common front’ with these thieving bastards.

  6. I am hearing constant bleating from the MSM and some Canadian friends about how Trump will destroy us.
    Orange Man Bad.
    BUT..
Read his terms. This is a bargaining ploy. Simply stated, the 25% tariff stays until we clean up our open drug and illegal alien problem. The reason he is concerned is because it is spilling over into the US.
Trudy & co. may not want to do this – I read recently that the majority in the HOC voted to decriminalize possession of hard drugs such as heroin, cocaine, meth, and fent.
    https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/majority-of-canadian-mps-vote-for-proposal-recommending-hard-drug-decriminalization/

Great. This will mean even more open air drug markets, and anyone with more than 1 neuron can see that it will lead to the presence of more hard drugs all across the country.
If we do as DJT is demanding, and clean up our illegal immigration and drug networks, it will not just be good for the US.
It will be good for us, too.
And we should have done it long ago.
We could end this threat of tariffs tomorrow if we had leaders with the stones to go against the “Boo Hoo” media and victim crowds. And our country would be better off for it.
This is not a hostile trade war. It is a bargaining ploy to get us to clean up our own house, and quit spilling over into his.

    1. Then Trudy would have to mess with the tangs. The tangs have inroads into the CCP. The CCP would then put pressure on Trudy to stop it. Trudy doesn’t want ill will between himself and the CCP. It might mess with him getting his next gig.

  7. So, fentanyl and bad guys crossing the Canadian/Us border.

    1) Are the bad guys Quebecois who are crossing over in search of better poutine? Are they militant Alberta ranchers crossing over in search of a good steak? I don’t think so. They may not be from “around here”. Maybe they are the wrong kind of people coming into Canada under false pretenses, seeking “asylum” through our pitiful system so they can sneak into the US through the mostly unprotected border. Let’s fix that part in a hurry.

    2) How tight are our border controls re the importation of fentanyl and/or its precursor chemicals? How tight are our controls on the use of precursor chemicals within Canada? If they need to be tighter, let’s do that.

    3) Let’s up the penalties, big time and soonest!

    4) Let’s be prepared for the inevitable northern migration of illegals and crooks coming northward to escape US deportation programs while feasting on the free rm and board, free medical and free legal services. We need to negotiate an improvement to the existing Canada/US border “safe third country” deal that only applies to legal border crossings and shut down the Roxam Road crap.

    4) All of this is best for both sides of the border.

  8. Putting out an over the top demand and let your negotiating partners fall over themselves with concessions is right out of ‘The Art of the Deal’. An adult would address the underlying problems and address Trump’s real concerns. An adult would have addressed Trump’s concerns because they benefit Canada. The premiers would better meet with Pierre (11 months) and build a common front to address those underlying issues. Trudeau is hopelessly compromised and is one of those issues. Trudeau and Biden, lame duck irrelevancies doing as much damage as possible on their way out.
