No mention of oil, energy, or climate, for that matter, in Sask throne speech

Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan

Pipeline Online read through it – the Saskatchewan Throne Speech doesn’t mention energy or oil. And it also doesn’t mention coal, wind, nuclear, uranium, lithium, helium or climate. But there’s lots on education and health.

Trying something new:

  1. Provincial governments only regulate and tax the O&G and mining sector. They actually pretend to run the education and health care sector. The unions and academia have other ideas.

  2. The one truism about education in America is that the #1 indicator of educational success is … good parenting. Intact two-parent families, upwardly mobile socioeconomic communities, and parents who actively participate in their children’s education. Parents who read to their children. Parents who check their children’s homework.

Teachers do nothing more than provide the outline (curriculum) for learning … and the parents fill in all the blanks and missing/mis information. That’s how I raised my own kids who both have degrees from UCLA in math & history … and both are wildly successful and contribute Bigly to society.

Government may try … but they will never, ever, ever, replace an active, engaged two-parent family
