Precisely! Here in the San Francisco Bay Area … this leftist lunatic just enumerated the rules I have had to live under as an underground, stealth, conservative. When neighbors, clients, and friends tell me stories of Trump’s latest “outrageous” conduct … I have to shake my head and agree with them … vigorously and with true conviction.
My wife talked to a friend in Colorado y’day and could not believe the hatred for Trump exhibited by that friend. Good thing her husband of about 65 or so passed away about 3 years back – he was a ”quiet” Trump supporter. Very quiet.
Yes, I agree with this comment. In my last place of employment before retirement, I foolishly let it be known that I was a conservative AND a capitalist, in a workplace which was NDP. Everyone else got a parking pass, I was told that I would be charged $ 90/month to park, so I took the bus (Regina Public Transit is “less than special”). Luckily, I did my job so well, that I cleaned up their Accounts Receivable by actually collecting the money, took over paying the Accounts Payable and did all of the invoicing. When the company moved to a new location, I was able to drive my car as the parking lot was free. The general manager (VERY NDP) had to take either the bus, walk or as I told him, he could ride his bike like his hero David Suzuki. I almost had my head knocked off. The GM liked to borrow other people’s cars, because he did not ride a bike or take public transit.
My sister was at my home recently and she believes everything this guy said., Trump derangement syndrome is real. I am Albertan and told her I would vote for Trump if I could and she lost her mind. Then she brought up the fine people hoax. I told her the left wing media lied to her about that and she needs to stop watching CNN and MSNBC, then she started screaming at me. I showed her the full video of Trump when he said, “not the white nationalists, they should be condemned”, and she told me it was AI. It really is astounding when you see it in front of you. Totally brainwashed.
I have a brother who I always considered somewhat conservative who’s bought the TDS line. I was quite shocked. The punchline is he gets all of his news from TV and thinks the internet is just a place where conspiracy kooks hang out. He is opposed to Trudeau though because his finances and lifestyle have taken a hit since the child king got elected.
I still have to love him though because he’s my brother.
He’s not my brother, so while I’m not loving him, I’ll also refrain from loving him on your behalf.
