    2. It’s nice to and see all the loot they’ve amassed over the centuries in their museums.

        1. I read a book where a character opined that the museums were for “foreigners to come and look at their former property with a minimum of inconvenience.”

          Last time I was there, in 2006, they were all free.

  5. I watched that on another site, amazing how ignorant the police are, of course it was a female cop. I never expect logic or rational thought or actions from police these days.

  6. The real story here is not the Chinese – it’s the British cops who should have reminded them what Brendan Kavanagh pointed out – they’re in a free country where you can film wherever you like in public. Instead, the cops tried to bully Kavanagh into complying.

    By the way, the Chinese guy who went berserk works for The Financial Times. Remember that the next time you see a story about China in the Times.
