the real question is what is coursing thru the brains that think words on paper are the thumb in that dike?
what is the debt now, 40 trillion? what do we do when the debt triggered hyperinflation necessitates a denomination that big? is the debt now paid with 1 bank note?

Or legislating the weather? The problem with the Inflation Reduction Act was the pork barrel spending was a major cause of Biden’s inflation. The irony and stupidity will be legendary.

You print a lot of money, you get inflation. So stop printing money. It hasn’t occurred to anyone in office to do this yet. Interest on the debt in the US now costs more than military spending.
My theory is the government is printing money just to keep the economy out of a recession.
