Diversity Is Our Strength

Mohammad Masum, 41, from Tisdale and 52-year-old Sohel Haider from Elrose have both been charged with human trafficking.

Masum is also facing three sexual assault charges.

The third man was released with no charges.

Investigators said this operation may have more victims.

Do tell.

  1. There are guys like Mo in every small town in Canada now.

The first guys to do it were the local chicom restaurant. They rolled the ‘dishwasher’s’ through.
Indentured. Slept in the basement until they paid off their debt and then moved off to the cities.

    Mo just takes the cash.

These guys are showing up everywhere. Saw a turban festooned family in a little town where I have never seen one – ever. Get used to it.

      Nice little racist rant there.
Butt lets ignore Mo Epstain, Mo Weinstain, and Mo Toobinstain.

  2. L – Current Sask. immigration policy is the same as Trudeau’s.

The recently released ‘Sounds of Freedom’ film is a box office success.
It deals with human trafficking in Latin America.

Will it’s follow-up have a cross Canada, including Sask. narrative?
    To be cont’d…

  3. That was the best episode of Corner Gas ever! The one where where Lacey and Brent kept that Bangladeshi family in Emma and Oscar’s basement and made them wash dishes at the Ruby. And then Hank tricks Karen and Davis into buying them, thinking that they were buying raffle tickets. Karen and Davis, realizing that owning people might reduce their credibility in town, sell them into sex slavery in Regina in time for the Grey Cup. Damn, but that was a good episode!

      1. qwerty – You beat me to it. Damned day job. Actress Susan Aceron and 1964 Canadian and World Curling Champion Lyall Dagg were also from Tisdale.
Not bad for a town of 3,800 people, and a falling birth rate.

  4. It seems to me that the good citizens of Tisdale could put the Mo boys out of business by not spending money at whatever business they are trying to conduct using slave labour.
