WTI crude $86+change today … just as I predicted ($85/bbl) when at the start of the Iran bombing, Brian Z. asked for predictions. That price should NOT translate to a +$1.00/gal gasoline (much higher in Trump-hating blue States) price in America.
In fact the average gasoline price in TN (and many other surrounding States) is $3.66/gal. which is about $0.50 higher than Trump’s pre-war price (don’t bother asking what it was during the Biden Admin.). You see … just like the FRAUD of Climate Change … one can make things look grim by choosing the desired data set. Trump is in no way “desperate” for Canadian oil. Sorry. We’re doing just fine … if you don’t live in a Blue State.
To further clarify … when the media uses the “National Average” fuel price to explain how awful and terrible Trump has made gasoline prices and the cost of living … they are LYING by using irrelevant statistics as a blunt, stupid, instrument.
The National Average fuel price is heavily weighed toward CA’s … ridiculous … $6.50/gal. gasoline prices. There is no logical explanation for that … except the Blue State residents take that shit right up the sphincter … as though they blame themselves for killing the planet by burning fossil fuels. My fellow Californians blame THEMSELVES for driving … and/or the Tesla drivers mock those idiot gasoline consumers. Nevermind their electricity is generated MOSTLY by nat gas fired power plants. It doesn’t really have anything to do with a war … Iran … Trump … or anything else. Gasoline prices were sky high here in 2007 too. Why? Because the $$$$ was flowing baby! Fake Loans … building boom baby! And the Oil companies simply exploited the demand. No Trump War needed to Jack up the prices. Same with Biden’s COVID spending spree. Gas prices … sky high.
Gasoline is not spiking out of control in Red States. Funny how that happens.
