  1. Well, yes, there is a form of spyware that can be loaded onto a phone simply by receiving a phone call.

of course, you can always load one of the no spy builds, but it gimps most functionality

    1. Get rid of your phone folks, honestly – it’s an addiction/disease for people and a miracle for commie control freaks. People gladly carry around the very thing which the commies plan to enslave you with. It’s fricking Pavlov’s dog with zombies and their phones out there.

I design very high tech crap yet don’t have a smart phone. Don’t need one. When I leave the office, I leave the office. When I go on vacation, I am on vacation. I have a very basic dumb phone in the car for emergencies only, battery out.

When I meet friends and family, guess what – I talk to them .

  2. Don’t be surprised to find out that they do that here without our knowledge

    1. “Lawmakers also insisted that sensitive professions, such as journalists, judges, lawyers, doctors and MPs would not be legitimate targets, People’s Gazette reports.”

Nice of them to exempt themselves though.

  3. “We’re gonna let criminals run wild so we got an excuse to monitor innocent citizens.”

    Probably happening here already.

  4. A Faraday bag can be very useful to protect privacy and intrusion as well as tracking. Not perfect but helpful.

  5. Put your phone into a faraday cage. Available on Infowars. It is essentially offline when in the fabric bag.

    1. Bob – isn’t it off line when you turn it off? Or can they track your location when it’s off? The Faraday bag won’t let you receive calls either, correct?

      1. Correct. In the bag, no calls. Sometimes its the only way I can get any peace and quiet. As to whether or not its off line when you turn it off I think that is a VERY questionable assumption.

  6. They have always done it.. Who wants to do real police work when you can just press a button.. The only trick was figuring out how to use it.. Now they don’t even need to bother..

A given in a world of button pushers.. Nobody knows how to do real field work anymore.. They all retired.. If I had to put a date on it it would be 2008..

Kind of like TOURETTS SYNDROME.. I tell my phone to F-off and suck my deek from time to time.. Just so they know that I know..

  7. “Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.”

  8. If the cops can do it, everyone who wants to is already doing it to whomever they want. They have been for a long time.

I’ve always said that anyone with a Secret or higher security clearance should not have smart phones. SIRI, Google, et al are always listening.

  9. Well, if the Froggies really just got around to doing this now, then they are light-years behind China, Canada, and the US in the totalitarian oversight field.
