      1. I believe deSantis is pro-Ukraine war. So, although I like him, he is the anti-Trump deep state candidate this time.

  1. Well, that makes pretty clear who “owns” DeSantis and will be calling on him if he makes it to the presidency.
Can’t say he would make a better or worse president than Trump, but at least we know which one has the least IOU’s to the Government/Industrial complex.

    1. Calling on him if he makes it as President? Hell … they’re all running his campaign. He won’t say a thing not approved by his Billionaire puppeteers. Everything he does over the next 18 mos. is fully scripted.

  2. Your neurolink brain chip will tell you who to vote for.

  3. Well, we’re sinking anyway. Trump scores too many own goals? De Santis? A bit of an autocrat? Maybe we need a bit of an autocrat to undo the damage? Anyway, anyone but a Democrat. But does it really matter? Is the administrative state a beast that can’t be tamed? My head hurts.

    1. My head hurts
Stop hitting it against the wall, then. Trump is The Man. I look forward to his “no more Mr. Nice Guy”. First day in office, fire the lot of DNI FBI CIA DOJ, shut down the EPA 🙂

      1. You do understand that the POTUS can’t actually fire most of these people and shut down these assorted bureaucracies? Do you have the slightest understanding of how government actually works in the United States?

        1. Do you?

The President is the head of the executive branch, and took an oath to defend the Constitution. All he has to do is order the FBI to stand down, permanently, on the grounds that their existence and activities violate the Constitution. He has all the authority he needs to do that.

The Legislative branch would vote to impeach, but so what; they can impeach a ham sandwich. Impeachment is a political process, not a legal one. And this is a hill worth dying on.

          1. You have to sooo careful what you say around here. Purity of thought is paramount. It’s all meant to prevent actual thinking no matter which side engages in it.

          2. Far better than you. Did you even read the original comment? What you state means “NOT on the first day in office.” As for closing down various bureaucracies, again not on day one. These all exist by various statutes which would have to be repealed to shut them down.

        2. “You do understand that the POTUS can’t actually fire most of these people and shut down these assorted bureaucracies? ”

He might not be able to shut them down, but he can certainly fire all the heads of these agencies and replace them with his own people ( not doing so was his one big mistake last time).

  4. How can you not like a guy who just signed a law in his state that says, you perform a mastectomy on a girl under 18 for ‘gender-affirming’ purposes you lose you license to practice and face jail time?
Whatever, the whole thing is a stupid charade. I like Trump for selfish reasons, just to watch idiots heads explode.
    Either will do.

    1. Basically my take as well.

I just want a sane, competent adult in charge. Anywhere.

The clowns are fun when they can stir the stuff that needs to be stirred up, but I’m tired of the “now what” when they can’t actually, you know, govern.

  5. That was an easy signing for Ron. A majority of both parties would approve.
He might as well have said “I like blue skies.

  6. Many chess moves to happen before the principals are chosen.
The Democrats have already closed the door to debates and Joes basement retreat, they will push that carcass forward at all cost.
The Republicans will undoubtingly bar the door to Trump….dirty tricks and rule changes

Centrist Americans on both sides of the isle have had a belly full of this crap.
They know the uniparty doesn’t work for them, never has, never will.
If you can’t clean house within these organizations, you’ll never have enough momentum to retrieve the ideals lost to these Marxists pricks. They control the two party system and are unlikely to give it up no matter what the cost.
    How about…
    a third party challenge….Trump/Kennedy ?
