The Liberals have long conflated “what’s good for the Liberal Party’ with “what’s good for Canada” – it’s a “thing” of theirs. And they are – unsurprisingly (Liberals gonna Liberal) – being true to form.
If and when we get a deal with the US, will the CBC and others go back and look at what was offered the first time around and see if the pain was worth it (and will they document the pain?) That little Trump-whispering banty rooster had one job — to secure a deal and prosperity for Canada — but he preferred to to sacrifice the country for his own ego.
Surely you Jest? The CBC, doing heavy lifting? Putting their paymasters on the spot with tough, ironic, uncomfortable truths?

The real question these days, is what can you believe or not? We’ve heard for several days now that there are negotiations underway, “near a deal”. Nothing from the Carnage team naturally, as they want the impression that they are being “tough” and “showing dRuMpF”, all the while businesses continue to shut down, downscale and move to the US, and the brain drain exodus to the US continues.
News seems to be coming out of the US media of progress. There were tariff removals and additions this weekend by the US. Strategic? PR/leverage/propaganda war? All 3 could be correct.
It would seem illogical for the LIEberals to be making a deal when their stated goal was to wreck the midterms then they would ‘really have dRuMpF’ over a barrel, lol. But then nothing is logical with these corrupt LIEberals. And Democrats are actually the biggest supporters of Tariffs historically, but the media will never tell you that.
We are just an audience. I know who I’m cheering against!
