so this morning i asked alexa on amazon who were the owners of amazon(it seems more and more products they push are chinese,so thought maybe Zuck sold to the yellow peril).. so anyway, her responce was names of many groups.. I asked why they sold so much chinese product..Got the labour cost responce.. On a whim i went to chatgpt..Same voice chick as alexa.. asked about the chinese product question, got a weird trade in the 1700s answer.. So i asked if it was patriotic to buy so much chinese product in north america.. She disconnected..lol..
ChatGPI and other AI platforms may seem impressive but only if you don’t have subject knowledge.

ChatGPT is just a language model, not a world model. It’s the best chatbot anyone’s ever invented, but it has no idea what it’s saying. It just knows that these words in this order are highly likely to be sensible.
People think ChatGPT is some kind of Skynet because for the vast majority of people their understanding of technology begins and ends with Star Trek.
