  3. I’m not paying to read gay men whining about being “erased.” We’ve been warning them this would happen since the 90s.

    Thirty freakin’ years they’ve been the Official Special Pet, but now we’re supposed to be all sad because the Left chucked them under the bus? Poor baby. I’ll try to squeeze out a tear for them.

        Tomorrow is the Victoria Day holiday in Canada, the first long weekend of the summer, what we used to call May 2-4 (after the ubiquitous case of beer we would typically drink camping or barbequing). I’m actually surprised that our idiot Prime Minister hasn’t renamed it yet into some unpronounceable Indian name with 12 syllables in the name of vanquishing ‘colonialism’.

No, what you’ve been warning about since the ’90s is The Gay Agenduh (which was always just ‘have the same rights as everyone else’), and everyone tuned you out because it was clear that you were just peeved that gay people could do all the same things as everyone else. This much more than the Iraq War is why the GOP and US conservatism died in the 2000s.

    1. The soi-disant right is embracing a lot of left-wing loons it really shouldn’t, like Andrew Sullivan and Naomi Wolf, because the loons are starting to realize the crocodile is coming for them next.

      We don’t need ideological purity tests, but an acknowledgement and apology for their previous terrible behaviour ought to be the minimum.

      1. Naomi Wolf wrote an apology to conservatives on her substack. I haven’t seen anything like that from anyone else. I have to say that she was right about the Patriot Act being bad back in the day, although her book was clunky. End of America seemed to be an attempt to shoehorn everything into “Bush is Hitler.” I never read any of her other books, and only read that one because I came across it at a thrift store many years ago.
