      1. Nope. Don’t pretend that the twits who run PSAC have anything to do with the rank and file membership.

        1. Who’s pretending?

Everyone here has had dealings with PSAC members. There’s no difference between the twits and the rank and file.

        2. Earlier this year, had to go via PSAC members to sort out how to electronically file T5’s for clients. Had been filing T4’s for quite some years (after CRA fixed their problems; early filing was a disaster), but wanted to go electronic for the T5’s. Took me a good three hours being directed and redirected to various agents (one of which, a male, gave me totally wrong advice) before finally got to the desk of a very competent woman who totally sorted things out in about five minutes. Was able to efile all the slips once it was explained how things worked and what “codes” I needed.
Okay, have a long history of interacting with CRA by phone, and – generally speaking – said interactions have not been great. Have also – as a tax preparer – had to deal with “I called Rev Can and they said I could do this”, which would often lead to very painful discussions as to the reliability of advice given by said agency.
On the other hand, had an issue with respect to tuition deductibility (offspring was studying abroad), and had great service from both our local (Winnipeg) office and the international office in Ottawa. Both women with whom I had the honour to work realized early that our offsping’s uni was totally legit and that only some bizzare Rev Can (as it was then) regulations kept them from using an internationally recognized website to confirm proper credentials of said uni. Took a couple of phone calls to the Third Secretary in the embassy of the country in which offspring was studying, but a formal letter was sent which “allowed” Rev Can to certify said uni and so allow the tuition and education amounts.

  1. Can Justin afford to bruise his ego or lose a powerful voter base (that mass of bloated, pretentious whine)?

Sit back with one’s favourite snack and/or beverage and find out.

    1. I’m sure the press will work very hard to insure there are no visible flags that might make them look bad… you know, the hammer and sickle, the chinese flag, the BLM, etc

  2. Just drove past my local utility. The IBEW is on strike, their vehicles are all parked on the shoulder of the road just of property. 90% or more of the vehicles parked are $50K plus new, and they all appear to be 2 years or less. I guess at least they do something once in while unlike PSAC

  3. If you’re a trucker in the Ottawa area and are given the arm pump by these mutts to get you to show solidarity…don’t forget, these people are the same ones who hated your guts when you were protesting.

4 point spread? The union will be offered 11% and will take it. Both sides will claim victory. Then they can all go back to not showing up for work.

  4. My fear is that the government will cave too quickly for ordinary people to see the new dynamic that drives this country. This disruption needs to go on long enough that even those with the meanest intelligence will see that there are two types of citizens in Canada: those who are permitted to protest, and those who are not; those who are heard , and those who are suppressed. Those who are rewarded, and those who are punished.

What makes them different? The tribe they belong to, and the party that they vote for.

  5. All government services should be replaced by AI and all taxes dedicated to run government services should be replaced by a subscription model.

  6. “But it is different when we do it”.
The hatred spewed toward the Truckers,by swivel servants was insane..
They “Knew” without a shadow of doubt that the narrative was correct..
    Read PSAC’s own site.
Pure lies and slander of the Truckers Protest..
    And now?
    “Honk if you support us”..

    1. I may be wrong on this but has anyone noticed the similarity of the PSAC flags to the native warrior flags?

      1. Yeah VOWG, I caught that early on, my immediate thought before double checking the flags, “was that it actually was the native warrior flag” a good fifteen seconds of confusion for me lol!

  7. They’re getting away with it because no bouncy castles. Let those strikers deploy even one of those things and the horsemen will be out to stomp them for sure.

On a more serious note, I’d very much like to see these weenies shut down the Windsor bridge for two weeks. Big bowl of popcorn ready for that show.

  8. PSAC scum. They should all starve but in this country striking federal workers still get their taxpayer funded salaries. Provide us no service atall and we still are force to pay them. That is so FU.

  9. Heh.
Now is the time to spread some rumours.
The Retribution Party will audit all civil servants careers and demand immediate repayment from all who are guilty of robbing the tax payers.
    The “plan” fire 50% every 3 months…
Trudeau is selling civil servants for body parts.
    The possibilities are endless.
Emergency measures act to be imposed on PSAC Strikers, cause Uncle David says it is OK..

  10. The trucker’s protest was the perfect moment for the Trudeau government to construct the ultimate wedge issue by labelling the truckers as dirty, uneducated rednecks versus the woke crowd. And it worked very well in their favour.

  11. When you’re aligned with the leftists in control you have no accountability for anything that you do or what you say.

  12. The Trucker protest would not even have inconvenienced these folks as most were comfortably working from home.

  13. If as rumored PSAC employees are getting paid until the start of may, don’t expect a settlement until that money stops

  14. My next door 30-something neighbour’s faithfully showing up every morning for picket duty. BTW, she’s still working from home. She truly believes the union’s spin that without the union fighting for the workers, we’d all be chained to our desks and working 12 hours a day, 6 1/2 days a week. Tried telling her that times have changed, it’s not the 1930s and good luck finding staff that would work under those conditions. She really thinks she’s worth a 13% salary bump because of inflation. Talk about brainwashed/propagandized. Told her PSAC could stay on strike forever, as far as I’m concerned. She hates Mona Fortier – didn’t ask how she feels about Trudeau.

  15. I don’t hear the Ottawa Police Asshole aka Deputy Chief Bell – threatening to ‘ruin’ strikers lives and chase them to the ends of the earth – perhaps he is ill.

  16. Is it odd that they want to “work” from home because they might get sick (and have to sorta work) but they all show up for fckn picket duty?

I don’t need a passport or EI and I already got my tax return so they can go on strike until Hell freezes over or just go to Hell.
There must be a circle there for Parasites.

  17. Class action lawsuits against all the unions and strikers for economic damage and emotional trauma.

  18. Most definitely beer and popcorn time!
Imagine that in a couple weeks the Westjet pilots go out on strike. A strike that will most assuredly cause harm to the economy and create a great deal of disruption to the lives of everyday Canadians.
The great and magnificent Dear Leader, Le Dauphin, has got his most imperious self in a bit of pickle:
So does ze/zer/it legislate the Westjet pilots back to work? Demonstrates that they actually are important to the economy and the life of the nation. Shows that the PSAC parasites are just that; parasites and essentially worthless?
Legislate PSAC back? Legislate both back?
Any which way, it forces the hand of Jughead. He can’t support back to work legislation. The CPC will vote against the government on anything. That leaves the liarberals needing the support of the Bloc, another left leaning party coveting the looter vote.
Will the liarberals make it a confidence vote? If they lose, it triggers an election which assures Jughead is most definitely out on his a$$.
    Interesting times…interesting times

  19. When the government and a public sector union sit at a negotiating table, there is nobody looking out for the taxpayers. Not that it matters, they print money anyways. They will settle after they go through the usual Kabuki theater.

  20. I’m at a loss here. We claim the government understates inflation and then the government offers their own workers less than the rate of inflation they under-calculate. I know, I know. The government workers are useless. But think for a second about the government. It won’t even give its own employees a raise to cover inflation – a number they made up. They won’t even match their made-up number. And what about all those pensions that are indexed to the rate of inflation? How can you increase pensions by the rate of inflation and not salaries? How can you give retired people more of an increase than working people? Don’t mind me. I’m just spreading dog poop on the sidewalk. It does prove that the government is more useless than its workers.

    1. Weird indeed but retired Peesack members have paid extra into their plan for indexed pensions while employed. Those are things that are already negotiated and part of existing contracts and agreements. Employed members need to negotiate raises. Their negotiating teams and Treasury board, not the government of the day, do the actual negotiating. Based on who knows what? I don’t think it even matters what party is in power. It used to be that TB would lowball the union, basically force them out on strike for two or three weeks , recoup those wages and then mandate the contract and order the workers back to work. It’s all a scam on both sides. One thing for sure, public service managers do very well.

  21. Let’s think in terms of electoral politics. A PM in big trouble with China influence etc, what better than a new distraction to make himself look tough and fiscally responsible. Drag it out for a couple more weeks till short attention span voters have forgotten about Chinagate. The civil servants are still being paid, right? Do they really care if it doesn’t hurt? Besides, the Libs figure those PSAC voters will still be loyal as the alternative is worse for them. In the end, PM who-gives-a-s**t spend-a-lot will give ’em what they really want or pretty close. Meantime the more disruptions the better for the Libs, gets the public angry and on the side of the heroic PM who resists. It’s all a grand performance for our cunning drama queen.

  22. How about outsourcing PSAC jobs internationally? We’ve learned that emergency measures are needed in times like these.

  23. IdeA: What about organizing a truck convoy to push PSAC from the site and into Ottawa, corralling them around Parliament Hill? And may be hold them there long enough that PM BlackFace calls his European goons to beat the up and disperse? Huh? Good idea?!
