      1. Meanwhile back in the real world. Macron and Von der Laying went there for different reasons. First Winnie the Flu has invited leaders of Germany, France, Spain and Italy to visit Pekin. Scholtz went last month, now Macron. Chicoms are trying o play various EU leaders against each other. Germans want unity, French are traditionally trying to play an independent card. Von der Lying went there as emissary of united Europe and it increasingly shows that Chicoms are trying to divide and conquer. Which in turn shows their complete lack of understanding* of Europe that is much stronger divided than unified under Germany. So yes, indirectly and unintentionally (not that it matters) Winnie the Flu is trying to help EU and VdL is of course trying to maintain the German empire hence the cold shoulder from Xi. Neither matters. But it is funny how the world is exactly opposite to what you see it as. You continue confusing what you wan to be facts with actual facts,

        *Westerners are often accused of not understanding China, when in fact Chicoms are the most culturally arrogant on the planet and routinely blunder in their estimation of what drives other cultures. Anyway, Xi will run Chicoms to the ground. With Xi, they blew their best chance.

They truly believe that everything they say and do is sanctioned by the underworld gods of Gaia.     1. China wants nukes out of Turkey and other countries surrounding it and Russia, a point that the western media completely overlooks. The US unilaterally withdrew from the medium range missile pact and put nuclear missiles close to Moscow, and wants to put even more in Ukraine, just a couple of hundred miles from Moscow. If NATO withdrew the nukes from Turkey and other non nuclear countries, the war could probably end today, and missiles would never go to Belarus.

      Sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.

      A couple of weeks ago an interesting chain of events happened, which I think are probably connected.

      -Russia attacked Ukraine with six hypersonic missiles, against which we are defenseless, even our carriers.
      -The US performed a “practice” nuclear attack on St Petersburg, flying our strategic bomber right up the the edge of Russian airspace.
      -Russia splashed one of our drones off of Crimea.

      If you don’t think that decision makers on both sides were aware of these events as they made their decisions, I can’t help you.

      I am not sure which came first, the mock attack on St Petersburg or the announcement of the siting of nukes in Belarus. Either way, Russia has learned that appeasement of NATO has been a disaster.

At the time, I figured it was a sop to the ChiComs by Bill Clinton, but now, I think it was appropriate, though Bill Clinton would never have humiliated him for *that* reason, but even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and then.

    No, that was not an accident either. Notice they never tried that stuff with President Trump. He likely would have ordered a take-off and immediate trip to Taipei, Taiwan, and let Xi know the how?, and the why?, and warned that sh!t is never happening again.

        1. Yea not quite – I’m a well travelled oilfield employee from Alberta retired early after a successful 35 year career.
          Started out swinging chain on a drilling rig in Swan Hills and worked up to senior management travelling to dozens of countries across the globe – Africa, Middle East, Europe, Asia, South Asia/ Oceania, South America, North America – too many countries to readily count over a 25 year period after a 10 year Alberta/ US oilfield induction .

          So yes, I have worked with Ukrainians, Russian’s and Chinese among many peoples of many cultures. ALL of their governments suck sh*t and all of their people are for the most part pretty great if you take the time to notice. Like anywhere they all have idiots especially the racists and bigots which are obviously found mainly among the low class peasantry who live in ignorance and fear of the “others”. I know I’ve experienced it firsthand in several countries. The powerless always lash out and point fingers for their own failings, weak and scared without the ability to lift themselves from their personal mental deficiencies.
