      1. No actually these were stopgap measures implemented in the field until MRAP and M1117 filled the ranks. They were meant for convoy protection and asymmetric warfare. God knows what orcs are trying to do with their abominations.

          1. Hardly, just recognizing the facts, no admiration. Troops in the field depots improvise, film at 11. What orcs are fielding, are not field improvisations like uber technicals of the Ural truck with 57mm AA gun on the flatbed variety, those MTLBs are bizarre deathtraps that someone in the back rushed to the front in desperation. Like I said, first army of the third world.

          2. They’re orcs, Siberian Mongols. Russia is an afterbirth of Mongol Empire. Russia needs to be neutered. Those are facts.

  1. People can say whatever they want about Scott Adam’s, but he was dead-on when he said anti-vaxxers were the winners of the COVID-19 fiasco.

    1. I’m not anti-vaxx, just leery of unproven mRNA therapy. But I had to do my part, so I elected to be in the long-term control group.

When I die, they can compare all my health particulars with my jabbed cohorts. If I outlive all of my jabbed cohorts, well… that might be a data point of note.

If I die earlier than my cohorts, let it be known that H.R. did not die from Covid. It was a Mack truck.

P.S. Bureaucratic math lesson: I’ve read twice here on SDA that the Canadian goobermint has ordered 90 million fresh doses of whatever that stuff is to be injected into as many citizens that can be convinced that it’s safe and effective.

Canada’s population is just under 38 million people. That doesn’t add up unless you use special government math. Are they planning to hand out the unused jabs as party favors?

      1. Blackie has a vested interest in buying as many doses as he can: he gets paid by the each.

      2. H R , I am already out living thousands of vaxxed, both young and old, and several friends in the past year. The shots are killing people world wide and fools keep taking them. They have zero efficacy and the only effectiveness is they do kill.

        1. And if you don’t take the mRNA the easy way, the goo-berment will find other ways to infect you with it. I’m hearing now that farmers are injecting the stuff into livestock. That poison is in our food supply. As if that’s not bad enough, I’m also hearing that shedding is becoming a real thing, and not just another conspiracy theory.

      1. “anyone do an autopsy?”

And find the truth? The FBI will be knocking on your door. You’re dangerous.

    1. Yet another red-herring. Add it to the list which includes gardening, and a day at the beach, not to mention climate change, cold weather, hot weather, shoveling snow, the sun…

    1. What accounts for the massacres committed less than a century ago by western Ukrainians who had historical ties to Poland? Russian culture? The majority of the world’s population don’t give a rat’s ass about Eastern Europe’s inter-tribal squabbles. They see the west’s hand in the provocation of the war and they now suffer the economic fallout.

      1. Whataboutism. Better start carrying, of all the world wars only two started in Central Europe. Also most of the world is utter $hit. Also “majority of the world’s population” don’t see anything one way or another, not that opinions of turd worlders should be considered when civilized make decisions.

      1. In a heartbeat, to dust, if only they dare to look funny in civilized world’s direction. Read the damn article. They may look nice on pictures but they only bring misery and despair to others. I would vaporize them for this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0PVcgzKTNik and thousands others like this. They only comprehend brute strengths and deserve no less. Same goes for their defenders, supporters and enablers.

  2. J6 and 5 big lies

With a bit of luck that might be the YSM’s “Guam Moment” where it tips over?

    1. George Conway. He constantly undermined his wife’s career. He was a total jackass. He was a nobody who obviously couldn’t handle her being a somebody.

  3. Some billionaire is warning about over-regulation.

    https://www.businessinsider.com/marc-andreessen-warns-college-degree-cost-million-regulation-limit-innovation-2023-3

At this rate of regulation a university degree will cost $1 million and a flat-screen TV that fills an entire wall will cost $100.

But the money quote is delicious.

“Those industries [like universities and health care facilities] are monopolies, oligopolies, and cartels, with extensive formal government regulation as well as regulatory capture, price fixing, Soviet style price setting, occupational licensing, and every other barrier to improvement and change you can possibly imagine,”

    1. I’m actually OK w/ uni degrees costing a million bucks. With most, if not all of them, little more than courses in brainwashing, woke, leftism (BIRM), etc., etc., etc., the trades are not only a better ROI, they’re safer for the mind.

The fewer young adults that are tainted, the better.

    1. I’m waiting for the day Black Lives Matter tries to sue the Lithium battery industry for cultural appropriation.

  4. With all the real issues surrounding EV’s, the most criticism they can muster is there’s no AM radio?

    EV ‘Emissions’ and AM Radio

    https://spectator.org/ev-emissions-and-am-radio/

Author notes: “AM is also beloved by sports fans for live/real-time game coverage.”

Yeah, I’m thinking Joe Six-Pack ain’t exactly the Tesla target demographic.

    More:

““When all else fails, AM radio stations are often the last line of communication that communities have,” said former FEMA head Craig Fugate.”

Sure! You can listen to the warnings of the hurricane approaching while on the side of the road, looking for a charger. Or, you could buy a hand generated emergency radio & not have to worry about AM in yer EV.

Personally, I haven’t listened to AM radio in over 3 decades. Probably closer to 4.

    1. “With all the real issues surrounding EV’s, the most criticism they can muster is there’s no AM radio?”

The problem with that, in Vancouver, is that our only dedicated traffic station is AM 730. I’m hoping someone will see an opportunity here and create an FM station to do the same.

    1. nold – It’s a great song with a very deep and visual meaning but too many folks couldn’t get past the title and chorus to make it a number one hit.
From Wiki: “The lyrics cautioned that “tomorrow might not be here for you”, and that “the smell of death surrounds you”. Three days after the album was released, the band was devastated by a plane crash. The crash killed several members of Lynyrd Skynyrd, including Van Zant.”

This was from the year Van Zant died – An awesome live version of Freebird.
