Zerohedge- “Get The Hell Out Of There” – Ohio’s Apocalyptic Chemical Disaster Rages On

The chaos began early last week when a train of more than 100 cars derailed in East Palestine, Ohio near the state’s border with Pennsylvania with roughly 5,000 residents. The accident launched fifty of those hundred freight cars from the tracks. Twenty of the freight cars on the train were carrying hazardous materials, ten of which were detailed. While the accident had no fatalities, of those ten cars, five contained pressurized vinyl chloride, a highly flammable carcinogenic gas.

  2. You’d have a hard time overstating the hazards of vinyl chloride. One of those chemicals that checks all the boxes.
    If I lived within a 5 mile radius of the derailment, regardless of the prevailing winds, I’d pack up the wife and kids and get out of Dodge ASAP.
    My heart goes out to the residents of Palestine…that area may be poisoned for a long time.

    1. One resident a few miles away , only, let their 2 year old dog out for a pee, it didn’t come back.
      Went looking and found it a short distance away in the yard , dead as a door nail.
      Numerous animals, wild and kept dead, birds, fish , livestock dead but meh everything is Okie Dokie says the EPA.
      Some mighty powerful chemicals that can kill very quickly just sitting as a residue on surfaces , wonder what happens to the humans.
      Anyways Erin Brockovich is getting involved, going to be a massive payout down the road.

  4. This should be designated as a crime against humanity. Not just the derailment, but more so the deliberate “controlled explosive destruction” of the chemical. I wonder when someone will be held accountable…..I’ll wait…..

  5. Could be wrong though the meme is that after the derailment, for some higher principal, they blew up the cars on purpose.
    There are a whole generation of people that went to school for a long time to study sociology, women’s studies, gender studies and other such metaphysical air.
    Well these people are making life and death decisions, all apart from real, actual world.
    And here we are.

  6. Back when Calgary had the big flood in 2013 (?) a train derailed on a bridge over the Bow river with cars literally hanging off the bridge over the raging river. Toxins were in the cars but CP claimed they had no idea what was in them. Lucky for them nothing landed in the water

  7. The first thing that came to my mind was the derailment in Mississauga, which was 40 years ago. No deaths and lots of evacuation. I was out walking home from a friends house with a couple of other people when it blew up. Only a ten minute window. We heard the low thunder like boom, and it lit up the sky in the distance. We were in Etobicoke.

    1. We were visiting my aunt and uncle in the east end of Oakville when that occurred. That was quite the apocalyptic scene.

  8. I wondered at the attempt to minimize and suppress news of this disaster, including arresting a journalist.

    I wonder who owns that railroad, and if his name happens to be George Soros.

  10. If a private company spilled 4 ounces of something like vinyl chloride in their parking lot, the Feds would swoop in and shut them down until they excavated and removed the whole area, then not allowed them to allow human access to that area until tests over time had proven it be to be safe.

    They burned off 5 railroad cars of the stuff and said that if people living there feel they need to they should get testing done on their own dime.

    1. Not only that but rebuilt the railbed over that toxic mess just to get the Choo Choo trains moving again.
      Imagine all that liquid getting rained on later and seeping into the water table that the farmers and locals get their drinking water from.
      No boil water order will get rid of that toxic soup.
      Then there is the smoke residue that wafted down all over many , many square hectares which is devastatingly toxic to any life that comes into contact with it, more so than DDT ever was.

    I can bet their first assumption on what happened in East Palestine, Ohio, was that it was the fault of the Israelis! 😉

  15. I wonder at how anyone could have been so stupid as to suggest a controlled burn of vinyl chloride. As with many organic chemicals, burning them in the open is extremely dangerous, since they don’t break down completely and the by-products can include furans to begin with, phosgenes, hydrogen chloride and God only knows what else. The only safe way to burn them is a closed system at extremely high temperatures. You’re still stuck with all the elemental chlorine that will bond to things in new and exciting ways. This was galactically stupid.

    1. What a sad story. This kind of stuff is heartbreaking. Couldn’t have been transfer pumped hey. Wow. This is heartless, scumbag worthy stuff. Lack of regard for life and the future – really sad.

With all the problems and multiple disasters continuing to occur, whether food factories burning down, egg and chicken farms being destroyed, rail disasters, oil and energy elimination, fertilizer reduction demands, third world migrations, and all manner of other diverse situations happening….. One would think this might be planned, that some entity is deliberately causing all this mayhem….nah, nobody is that stupid or crazy….right? Right? RIGHT?

    Perhaps it’s not stupid or crazy for an EVIL, rich, malevolent, WORLD body, with perhaps decades long, ECONOMIC plans to wrest all control from nation states to create a globally controlled “FORUM” with them in total charge, so they can reduce populations and therefore preserve major global assets for themselves and their future offspring only!

    Of course, I’m only theorizing here, and I did just make a new tin foil hat, shiny side out……

Addendum, Forgot to add, Gender “dysphoria”, Child mutilations, Deliberate queering of children, Trans people, criminal coddling, police defunding, geriatric president, narcissistic psychopathic prime ministers, wind farms, EV’s, infrastructure attacks, rigged and or, stolen elections, mandated vax, masking, lockdowns, media loyalty buyouts with taxpayer money, digital currency, balloon UFO’s and so on. A deliberate avalanche of negativity everywhere. Feel free to add on to this list.
