  1. Congrats to Spain for winning the World Cup in style. 7 total shutouts – a WC record. They only allowed 1 goal the whole tournament. Argentina couldn’t even generate a shot on goal until LATE in the second overtime. And lest you think Spain just plays keep-away … they had an amazing 20 shots on goal, 12 on frame. Argentina’s GK was forced to make multiple great saves. The Spanish side literally TAUGHT the world how to properly play soccer. Their play is a thing of beauty.

    Conquistadors!!

    1. Yeah, the Spanish team played a great game. With a world-class striker it would have even been better. And with such a young squad most will probably back for the next world cup in four years.

      1. And here I thought it was about a drunken night and loss of virginity. Shows you where my mind went … when my testosterone was still at ‘toxic’ levels.

    1. oh joy oh bliss. “they will investigate this”
      aka cops investigating themselves.
3 cops recently shot to death in Canaduh, Tranna Montreal & Barrie area?
and another one dead in a car crash close to their training school in little ol’ Aymer.
by golly, given that it is uproariously ‘funny’ when l get a $1200 BBQ stolen, and EVERYONE lets them ‘get away with it’, then by that logic it is much funnier when self-investigating cops wind up dead. jist sayin’ . . . . .
boo hoo hoo and ha ha ha.

    1. DRILL BABY DRILL

Trump says that there will be dancing in the streets of Aberdeen when North Sea oil is back. Trump continues puttin pressure on the Labour govt to release the UK’s oil and gas resources, end dependence on foreign oil and become a net exporter Oh, Trump urges the removal of the windmill farms, too.
Doubt Burnham will do any more then Starmer. North Sea oil isn’t in Labour’s plan.

In other news, GB News reports that Defender if the multi-Faiths, King Charles III, was beaming as he paid a visit to the first ever eco-mosque.

    2. Sorry … I don’t hate the media or the climate crisis uber alles storm troopers nearly enough.

the US president – a vocal supporter of fossil fuels, who has repeatedly dismissed the scientifically backed evidence behind the climate crisis –

SMH … the utter JUNK science of the climate crisis [sic] … continues to be pounded (like a Bible, eh?) despite repeated evidence of it all being rubbish.

  2. Lumsden Fire Department willfully lied about ‘social media’ being wrong in the case of the collision near Lumsden.

As a public institution that is supposed to be trusted by the community it serves, especially since they’re emergency services, The ratepayers in the RM of Lumsden need to take a look at who is responsible for Lumsden Fire Department’s social media account, and have them immediately removed from their position and issue an apology.

Yep, Winwood’s brother laying down that single octave bass groove. This is the real LIVE audio with the video. How to write a hit song … lay down a simplistic bass groove and have the kid with the still adolescent changing voice just start shouting in time.

  3. 51st State? Oxfordshire Village Looks to Secede From UK over Asylum Seeker Centre
    https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2026/07/19/oxfordshire-village-looks-to-secede-from-united-kingdom-over-planned-asylum-seeker-centre/

Piddington has found itself at the epicentre of the battle against the Westminster establishment’s open borders after the Home Office recently announced that it would be converting a former Ministry of Defence facility on the outskirts of town into an asylum seeker residence…set to house some 1,250 “single adult males”, many of whom arrived in the country illegallyl before claiming asylum once on British soil.
The parish council of Piddington has come up with a novel way to push back, holding a referendum on whether the village should secede from the country. …a meeting was held on the Fourth of July — on the 250th anniversary of America’s independence — to decide whether to hold a referendum. By a margin of 178 to 7, the residents backed the idea of holding such a vote.
The Daily Mail reports, residents are currently debating whether to seek independence as a principality or petition the U.S. to become the 51st state.
