I’m always pleased to let my Nikon/Canon friends know that when peoplekind went to the moon, the lens of choice was Zeiss, (or Hassablad lenses, built with Zeiss inside) and I think 1 Fujifilm lens inside a Hasselblad setup.
It’s unfortunate they couldn’t bring this gem with them…
Around 30 years ago (back in film days) I spent a weekend w/ a borrowed fish eye lens. Shot a couple rolls, mostly nature photography. Interesting results, but very much a one trick pony. Could never justify the layout for the limited returns.
The first picture could be the definitive portrait of Bobby’s wife Ethel. Hard to believe that she’s still around. A nice reminder of a time when our leaders were imperfect but not dripping with sleaze.
Wow! I had no idea the surface of the moon reached temps of 140 Celsius; I always assumed it was cold. Learned something new today. Thanks!
Check out the dark side.
I did, thanks to Pink Floyd.
remember the dark side is every bit as lit as the visible side .
It should be called “the far side”.
There is no dark side of the moon, really.
Matter of fact it’s all dark – Pink Floyd (Roger Waters)

Thank you for that.
