Anyone remember the six Greenpeace activists who trespassed at a coal-powered power station in the UK. The did over 30,000 pound damage in the process. All six admitted that their goal was to shut down the power station and were legally obligated because of climate change.
They were found not guilty.

Robbing substations is just NOT a thing. You don’t see it listed in the police blotter sprinkled among the convenience store robberies.
