Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Am I the only one that is outraged that Doug Ford thinks he can tell me which liquor I can buy?
Thankfully its paywalled. 0.99 cents saved.
I didn’t expect anyone to read beyond the headline, actually.
I confess my absolute SHOCK that Province-to-Province tariffing (taxation, eh KM?) of Canadian products sold inside Canada can be much higher than US tariffs and/or restrictions on Canadian products … such that Canada only sells 15% of your domestic wines inside Canada.
Yes Kate … stupid … emotionalizing … letters. Elbows and Asses.
The inter-provincial tariffs is a thing that came and went pretty quickly. Like a tribal conflict that everyone knows will never get resolved. There are limits to how much beer you can drive across a provincial border.
What liberals lack for in intelligence they more than make up for with arrogance.
Here in Victoria I haven’t seen any evidence that the editor tries to keep stupid letters out of the paper. Quite the contrary.
Sorry Kate, but if the editor is stupid then how would they know?
Stupid is as stupid does.
or … if the readers are stupid and the editor is smart, he /she /they gives them whatever they want.
Proving the very points raised by the author of Beyond the Tantrums – posted by OJ in this morning’s Wednesday on Turtle Island.
