It doesn’t matter what the Obamas use the propane for, there isn’t anyone in the MSM that’s going to take them to task for this, there isn’t an upper limit of pools, hot tubs, bbq’s or deck heaters, no upper limit temp in the house so that it reminds them of Hawaii, the hot water heaters may be set above the federal standard, the stoves or grill tops could be on 24/7 and there isn’t any chance of criticism from the media being asked more than once.

    They are above the media, and the media loves to fellate them in the same manner as Hussian fellates “Ms” Robinson on the deck in the am.

    1. Dare we ask what the energy requirements are to distill “renewable” propane? See, we take 5 gallons of regular propane to heat the vat of fat & make a gallon of renewable. Isn’t that one of the laws of thermodynamics?

Lots of ‘maybes’ and ‘possibles’ and excuses out the ying yang!.. i mean.. they have pools and outdoor dining areas that NEED the propane.. for gods sake..think of the children who might have to swim in a cooler pool…or walk to the house to get food!! The HORROR!

  7. I own a propane company. It will take at least 1800 gallons to warm the pool up to a comfortable temperature this time of year. Without a pool cover I don’t think that even Obama can afford it.

    1. Is 2500 gallons enough for a 7000 Sq ft house?
      How much does a backup generator burn?

      I imagine you’d want a couple weeks being on an island with potential hurricanes.

  11. Forcing “lifeboat ethics” on the public and not considering any of the purported reasons for that when they conduct their own affairs is awfully damned POLITICAL of them.

    Moreover, not calling out these cranks who try to scare children and dimwitted adults with the idea that the sea will rise up to the attic, when it will only side up about 50 more millimeters in this century than it has in the last century is simply abusive.

    It’s even more malicious and abusive when you consider that the people they’re trying to scare into misery don’t have the resources to do what these “caring people” want them to, and would not have those resources if they lived to be 100 and worked every day of their lives.
