   1. But she can’t be counted on to vote with them on divisive bills. She already has a history of that, and this will exacerbate it.

      The Senate now has 49 Republicans, 48 Democrats, and 3 independents who caucus with the Democrats.

2. A prog on Twitter posted the following: “Rather than risking a primary defeat, she’s created a scenario where if Democrats run a candidate in the 2024 general they risk throwing the race to the likes of Kari Lake.”

   1. I love it. Dems might run a candidate just BECAUSE they want rid of her. Politics is a LONG game. The Repubs are gonna take the Senate back in 2024 anyways by flipping 3 seats so what’s another one to get rid of a pain in the Dems butt?

         1. Good observation…That table should now have a diversity of characters, gender, color, pronouns etc…(Maybe a couple of clowns would work too)…

            Megadeth (No A in Deth) was founded by Dave Mustaine who had been kicked out of Metallica very early on…He was always political and has since grown to be a full fledged Right winger who is very vocal about what’s going on and believe me he knows what’s up…a full team member of our group fer sure. His albums have been for the most part political. The music is much more complex than Metallica’s who definitively threw out the most talented song writer AND guitar player…He sucks at singing though but that was mostly overlooked by the listeners because of the music itself he composes.

5. It is as though the democrats are leaving so called, has been “Democratic” party.
   Must add that the so called ‘Democratic” party has moved.
   If you look through the Overton window you see the so called “Democratic” party as socialists with strong fascist tendencies.
   In either case, totalitarian, dicktatorial (sic) outcomes.
   What is more interesting is that the American mainstream is good with that.
   In another case it is possible that the vast majority of the population has been rendered mute by the mass media cartel.

7. I wouldn’t get excited about this. Like the other “independents”, she will still caucus with the Dems. She is just covering her butt in Arizona.

   1. A big butt, if you look at the pictures.

      1. She doesn’t have a big butt. She often wears skirts/dresses which make her butt look larger.
         Her best marathon time is 3.28 which qualified her for the Boston Marathon, she’s also ran in many others, including sanctioned Ironman competitions.

         I don’t agree with +99% of her views, but do think she looks great, including the silver dress she’s wearing in the NBCNews article on her from 4 days ago.

         The makeup of the Senate isn’t changing, she’ll likely vote with Democrats +80% of the time, though this may go a ways to ensuring her re-election in 2 years time unless the Democrats run someone against her.
